More than that Smile

bunnymother · 10/02/2011 20:26

DH? Nothing. Well, next to nothing. OK, a bit more than that.

sheeplikessleep · 10/02/2011 20:29

wearymum200 · 10/02/2011 20:30

£0. Need wardrobe overhaul, sometime, when I have time......

franke · 10/02/2011 20:39

I was doing really well until last week when I went into our local boutique and found all sorts of lovely stuff which I really needed. It was all at least 50% off so I saved loads Wink

And at the mo I'm waiting for these bargaintastic boots to arrive (the brown ones).

TragicallyHip · 10/02/2011 20:43

About £50 in the sale. That's it till next year tho, am on a self imposed ban!

Yeah lets see how that goes eh Hmm

planestrainsautomobiles · 10/02/2011 20:46

£27.50 Lotta Clogs (got seconds - absolutely perfect!)
£35 ish H&M (Breton t-shirt, Stripey Scarf and Grey cardigan)
£100 + Boden Sale (white shirt, dress, denim shirt, ballet pumps, swimsuit)
£40 ish (Kurt Geiger black biker boots)
£30 ish (Kurt Geiger order No.2 black shoe boots)
£180 ish Kew Sale (Navy jersey dress, Black wool trousers, Pink Woollen cardigan)
£25 ish (Black straight skinny jeans and cream long sleeved t-shirt)
£14 (Oliver Bonas sale dress)

I think thats it?? Blimey, didn't realise I had bought soo much - must avoid S&B for a few weeks! Wink

planestrainsautomobiles · 10/02/2011 20:47

Whoops - sorry a little bit too much detail Blush Just getting used to all these threads, was using it as a good activity to add up all my spending.

Thank Goodness DH is on a conference call next to me blissfully unaware!

HettyAmaretti · 10/02/2011 20:48

4 euros on a rather lovely deep green belt in the sale Sad Hmm

ilikeyoursleeves · 10/02/2011 20:48

Last week I bought a lovely top in Oasis reduced from £70 to £20 and also one reduced from £30 to £12.

That's it I think. The DS's on the other hand have far more spent on them (not fair!).

TragicallyHip · 10/02/2011 20:49

Oh I forgot about the Kurt Geiger shoes that I will never be able to walk in Blush

Add another £40..

All that in 6 weeks planestrainsautomobiles? Well done Grin

rusmum · 10/02/2011 20:54

£65 Clarks, work shoes

planestrainsautomobiles · 10/02/2011 20:58

TragicallyHip I didn't even realise I'd spent that much?? I blame the Kew purchases on my lovely FIL who sent me in there and told me to pick out whatever I wanted for my birthday! Maybe he thinks I need a wardrobe overhaul ???

I feel like I've just rediscovered clothes - DH has sort of (?) noticed new purchases but has only made 1 comment "you've got everything you need now, you don't need anything else" - men just don't understand.

Ah bless your FIL! How lovely Smile

Men do not understand! I always hide my new purchases and bring them out saying "Oh this old thing, had it ages but not really worn it"

I think he is starting to cotton on Sad Grin

ClaireDeLoon · 10/02/2011 21:10

£85 (I think) in FatFace on dresses
£90 in monsoon on tops
£55 Lotta clogs
£50 M&S pj's & tights

mamatomany · 10/02/2011 21:13

Too much in Boden, 3 pairs of trousers, 2 tops and a denim jacket.
I need new undies, some dresses, new boots and summer shoes too but we need to do a lot to the house so I might wait.

TragicallyHip · 10/02/2011 21:23

I have just seen a fabulous pair of jeans I have had saved in my ASOS account reduced to £42 from £60.. Shock

Why oh why did I look Hmm

MilliONaire · 10/02/2011 21:33

I have bought quite a lot since christmas as I needed quite a few things and got money for christmas & recent birthday from family & I spent it all on clothes. I too feel as though I am rediscovering clothes!! So far I have bought:

£160 Boden sale (denim skirt, wool dress, scarf, wool cardigan, leather bag)
£150 Jesire - 2 dresses, 1 wool & 1 silk
£110 Carvela shoes
£10 H&M breton
£60 Gap denim skirt & scarf
£50 gorgeous chunky knit Monsoon
£100 Noa Noa - 2 tunic dresses & 1 cardigan
£24 Bargain Phase eight silk dress

and I am NOT done yet either, I want some lightweight trousers from spring (chino) some skinny jeans in gap/french connection / shoe boots / pahse eight dress & top / cardigans / galdiator sandled in boden / leather bag / spring jacket / new underwear etc etc etc.....

All is need now is to win the lotto Grin

In my defence, i have not bought myslelf much in the past couple of years for various reasons and I recently bagged up all the old / out dated / no longer loved stuff in my wardrobe so I was left with very, very little.

I am LOVING my revamped look and am delighted with all my new purchases, I find myself just running my hand along them as I pass the wardrobe Blush

BelligerentGhoul · 10/02/2011 21:38

29 squid on bargainous and beautiful Phase Eight silk dress

45 squid on Phase Eight Janice dress but have only worn it twice so far

2 lots of 16 pounds on M&S long striped t-shirts (one black and white and one pink and navy)

2 x 14 pounds on two long sleeved t-shirts from Dickens and Jones (one purple and one grey)

4 pounds on bargainous Hobbs top with Red voucher

10 pounds on a pair of jeans in Oasis

about 15 pounds on tights

I think that's it!

BelligerentGhoul · 10/02/2011 21:39

Oh and 89 pounds on a coat in Hobbs Blush

hugebelly · 10/02/2011 21:47

I spent a fortune on clothes that I will be able to wear --not shoved into back of wardrobe- once I've lost the baby weight.

£400+ in Pure Collection (random cashmere sweaters/ cardigans)
£200+ in Boden sale (jacket, coat and cardi)
£150 on bag from Fenwick sale

hugebelly · 10/02/2011 21:48
