I have spent a complete fortune recently because I've gone from a size 20/22 to a size 10/12. And I'm completely unapologetic about it (although my Mastercard is creaking at the seams a tad ).

I have bought... two pairs of boots in Kurt Geiger sale £90, a navy white company dress £29 ish I think, a top and a cardigan in Toast sale, £27 and £30, a leather satchelly type bag on ebay £15 - hasn't arrived yet, no idea if it will really be nice.

Also, just ordered some Breton style tops from M&S.

currently drooling over a Toast coat which was £300 - now down to £81. But I have to sit on my hands as even though I really need a nice coat I will have to get about 2 foot chopped off the bottom as I'm a midget.
