Enid · 13/10/2005 18:15

teeavee · 13/10/2005 18:16

he means "without trying hard enough"

Enid · 13/10/2005 18:18

I am thrilled that this style of skirt is back. (as it has no tailoring whatsoever and is therefore cheap to make) It allows everyone, it seems to me, to look (like a) great (big heifer) and be utterly (devoid of style but) comfortable without trying (at all) too hard. A perfectly reasonable expectation, I?d have thought (for a frump).
