Anyone know if it's possible - and where - to get a sample of this? I don't want to buy a huge bottle until I know I like it.

I have blonde highlights. Not killing the colour at all. Used it every day since Thursday and I can't tell you how impressed I am. I ordered my bog bottle yesterday from look fantastic

Thanks, I'm going to have to do it, aren't I!

I wonder if my lifetime search for that perfect hair product is almost over Grin

WincyEtNightie · 08/02/2011 09:54

Did it! Got 7% cashback through Quidco too!

Oh, and I bought a Bare Escentuals starter kit too! Blush MN has a lot to answer for!!!!

Shhhh · 08/02/2011 19:52

btw, the "light" one I use is also for light coloured hair. So it may be better for blondes..?

Natasha1 · 09/02/2011 06:31

Hi

I got mine from Beauty Flash Shop.co.uk as to start with I just wanted to try a small one, it was £12.60 for 25ml with free P&P.

Wincy, I have blonde highlights and have used it every day for the last 14 months, it hasn't killed the colour whatsoever.

I am still using the same bottle too! £30 well spent.

HarlotOTara · 09/02/2011 06:53

I use argan oil as a moisturiser too - it is very light and easily absorbed. I bought some for £10 for 100ml on amazon from the Aromatherapy Shop.

neepsntatties · 09/02/2011 09:34

I want some! But what is better? Morrocan or the Argan stuff? My hair is curly.

kerstina · 10/02/2011 21:35

Is the light one for blondes or fine blondes ?! My hair is fine but not blonde should i go for light or full fat Grin

Shhhh · 11/02/2011 11:26

kerstine, my local salon advised me that although my hair is black its not thick or heavy so I would be best with the light oil.

from what I know, the light is for light coloured and hair thats not thick/long.. its a lighter version of the normal oil so not so heavy etc.

I have been using the light moroccan oil now for around 4 weeks and my hair is fab. I also use the matching shampoo and conditioner. hth x

Ordered a mini bottle (10ml) from Jadore Online Salon for £5 on Weds, arrived this morning.....will report back later but I'm thinking I should have gone for a 'light' version as I have a long bob which gets greasy quickly....

spiderlight · 12/02/2011 23:19

I got some Amargan oil from Amazon and tried it this morning, and I'm a bit underwhelmed so far. Not sure whether I've done it wrong though. I have very long but very fine blonde hair and I used four drops. My hair's come out nice and soft, but very dull-looking with no shine at all, which makes me wonder whether I used too much, but it's also been full of static all day, which only happens when it's under-conditioned, so maybe I didn't use enough! Or maybe I should have gone with the light oil, although I didn't know it existed until after I'd ordered the Amargan stuff! Argh - should I try more or less tomorrow?

Shhhh · 13/02/2011 15:56

imo use less... I have shoulder length hair and I use 1 dropp.

I suggest maybe use 2 drops. Where did it seem overdone..? roots..? may be an idea to only apply it from midlength to ends.

apply it underneath as well and work it in.

You may have needed to light version... see how you get on with the above first.

I wouldn't worry as I guess you could sell your bottle on should it not be ok. Im sure many mner's would be interested Wink. hth x

valiumredhead · 13/02/2011 16:26

4 drops is waaaaaaaaaaay too much - one tiny drop , rub it between your palms and smooth over your hair ( I avoid the roots)

kerstina · 13/02/2011 17:21

I noticed one reviewer on amazon said you need to use it a while before noticing the results. I ordered the Amargon too as it was cheaper will let you know how i get on when it comes.

WincyEtNightie · 13/02/2011 17:29

Thought I should report back Grin

I like! Have the full fat Moroccan oil. Have longish, naturally curly blonde hair.

So far (day 3) I have scrunched it into damp hair and left to dry narturally. Hasn't dulled the colour and defines the curl at least as well as frizz ease, possibly better. Softer curls too and I suspect may work out cheaper in the long run Smile

Now awaiting the arrival of my Babyliss Big Hair to see how it works on a blow dry. Grin

spiderlight · 14/02/2011 20:31

I used much less yesterday and it was much better, so I'll stick with it for a bit!

Sally4444 · 28/02/2012 14:12

i use Amargan oil and also their shine and protect spray, i did have to experiment to as to how many pumps to use as i have fine, curly hair. I use Amargan cleanser to wash my hair then condition it and then whilst my hair is still wet use two pumps in my hand which is rub together and run my fingers through my hair and then blow dry and the results speak for themselves... I bought mine from www.amarganoil.com hope this helps.

Scarlettno1 · 01/03/2012 09:50

I am a Amargan Oil Fan!!!! I use all there products think they are brilliant, my hair used to be fine, dry and lifeless. It has transformed my hair which is growing with strength, shiny and full of body. I bought my products from my hairdresser which has lasted me ages so its great value....

Scarlettno1 · 05/03/2012 11:07

Has any1 tried Amargan Oil's new product Advanced Styler?

LauraWolfhart · 08/06/2012 22:32

I prefer Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan which deeply conditions, smooths and stimulates hair growth. Oil. My clients (I?m a hairstylist) are also using it and have already noticed a significant growth spurt and less hair loss.

As for my own hair, I've also noticed that it's stronger, shinier and a lot less frizzy. As the Pro Naturals also serves as a heat protectant, I'm especially happy with it as I blow dry my hair regularly.

If anyone's interested then here's the link: www.rylees.ca/pro-naturals-moroccan-oil-hair-treatment-with-heat-protector.html

One of the best time-saving solutions I think is this website: eBay . Always so many choices and great prices.
