Are bootcuts back in?!

When I was shopping yesterday I saw loads of them. Hooray if they are!

According to the fashion guy on Lorraine yesterday morning bootcyts are back!! Yippee, no longed need to squeeze my fat ass into skinny jeans :)

I bought some NL bootcuts before Christmas they are only £9.99 and are great - really stretchy :) I really struggled to find any at all though which is annoying because not every body shape suits skinny/straight leg!!

Bootcuts never went out for me. There are some people who should just never be seen in skinnies and I am one of them. Knowing what suits you is far more important than staying on trend.

Yay for bootcuts and Lorraine Kellys fashion guy!! My saddlebags can breathe a sigh of relief! But what boots/shoes?

agree, still don't own a pair of skinny jeans - think they look horrid on anyone older than 20

Haven't managed to try on a pair of skinny jeans that don't show a bumcrack when I sit down so I haven't yet got out of bootcuts.

i noticed that river island had them on their website this week so they must be back in.....i've only started wearing skinnies in the last 6 months and finally binned my bootcuts - am not happy.

This season's are 'baby bootcuts' I believe - thigh hugging like Houlihans and a narrower flare. Or so The Times told me ...

They are a differnet shape though much skinnier to the shin and a slight kick Think bianca jagger in the 70s they are so flattering with heels!Mand s stylee granny flares are not the same

Article in Grazia last wweek about the various types of 'flares' as they call them which are about to be 'in'. Some look remarkably like bootcuts to me.

I think the new bootcut is a slimmer version, more in between a full on bootcut and a straight leg..

Bootcuts were never out for me. Some legs (and arses) were not meant to be seen in skinny jeans.

I like them too (though do also like straight leg and even skinny/ jeggings, so long as worn with a tunic). But I like them as shown in that link, quite tight on the leg except at bottom. Don't like anything baggy, specially as legs one of slimmest parts of me!

Today I am wearing my skinny flares [stylish emoticon for me please]. Had been sitting in the drawer for a while but am loving them once again. I am wearing with heels as I am a short arse and I defintely look taller and leaner than I do in my skinnies tucked in to boots... fab that they are back!

I tried on a great pair of 70s jeans in Zara today - they were very very mid-blue... I'm quite tempted. They didn't have that high waist thing (which is probably a good thing) but they were higher than the Zara average.

Did they ever go out? They're the only ones that suit me.

I only wear skinnies under boots...so bootcuts/skinny flares have always been in in my book! But I guess, I'm just not that trendy.
