pyjamas please

I'm looking for some warm pyjamas. They need to be long sleeved, preferably in cotton with long sleeves and longish in the body so can be tucked into pyjama bottoms (hate waking up with a cold back and all untucked...brrrr!!!).

Will pay up to about £35. Don't mind motifs on the front or the colour.

Anyone get any nice ones for Xmas and if so, where from?

Hush do nice ones-when their sale starts they will be cheaper

hither

applecrumbleandcream · 05/01/2011 22:27

Thanks for the link, they are nice but rather expensive - £30 for pyjama bottoms is too much for me to pay. Will look out for their sale.

I love Primark flannel pjs

applecrumbleandcream · 05/01/2011 22:33

Yes, I have had Primark pj's in the past but found that they have shrunk after a few washes. Still find myself drawn to buying a couple of pairs whenever I get to a Primark though!!

John Lewis do some quite nice tartan flannel pjs - though have to say my last pair didn't wash too well

applecrumbleandcream · 05/01/2011 23:05

Just looked on M&S and there's absolutely nothing suitable.

I like the red tartan ones with the matching slippers as I tend to buy darker colours in winter - plus I like tartan!

Hush, Hush and Hush again.

adore their nightwear but i do buy it all either in the sale or their annual clearance (at their London warehouse).
imagine it will be in the next 2 weeks or so (their sale that is).

worth waiting for ............

dottyaboutstripes · 06/01/2011 14:29

Hush sale is next Tuesday

mckenzie · 06/01/2011 14:57

I wish i hadn't clicked on this post! I've now just bookmarked the Hush page ready for when their sale starts. I'd like everything please, not just the pjs Smile

Havingkittens · 06/01/2011 16:03

I saw these in M&S the other day, they look very elegant and the material is lovely and soft.

BornToFolk · 06/01/2011 16:09

Seriously, wait for the Hush sale. Best pjyamas ever! I bought some in the sale last year - not more than £25 and I love them. They are generously sized and don't shrink so won't end up flapping round your ankles or riding up in the night.
I'm going to buy more on Tues. Can't wait!

applecrumbleandcream · 06/01/2011 16:11

The Hush pj's are all lovely, do they wash well (ie. don't shrink)?. Wouldn't pay £45 for a pair but may take a look when the sale's on.

M&S ones are only 3/4 sleeve and was looking for long... thanks though.

sorry BorntoFolk x posted there. Going to have a look on Tuesday!!

BornToFolk · 06/01/2011 16:18

Grin They do really wash well. Last year's pair still looks pretty good. I don't technically need another pair of pyjamas actually as they've worn so well but I want some!

OhCobblers · 06/01/2011 16:24

i'll second what BornToFolk said about washing - mine still look good a year on.

however, i've lost one pair - somewhere in the house - god knows where? Confused
how do you lose a pair of PJs?

aquavit · 06/01/2011 16:24

umm, my Hush pjs shrank in the wash (length not width) so they are now too short in the arm and leg (they didn't start out all that generous either, though I am tall so not much does). Gorgeous otherwise, though, and other than the shrinkage they still look great.

CupcakesHay · 06/01/2011 16:31

Littlewoods had lovely spotty double pack of PJs - choice of pink or blue.

applecrumbleandcream · 06/01/2011 16:32

Thanks aquavit...my search continues!!
