Thanks for that. Just been looking at the children's tshirts but they are more expensive this time. Still £15 after discount, so may give them a miss this timeSad

bluecardi · 29/10/2010 10:44

Not keen on the three quarter sleeves & no longer skirts

HotchpotchHoney · 29/10/2010 10:51

the code isn;t working, so will only let checkout at full price despite saying 20% off on home page. anyone know the code? i like to get my orders in fast.
thanks

Dorothyredboots · 29/10/2010 10:52

Thank you. There are quite a few things I like, so i will be putting in ana order.

NothereisnobodylurkingbehindU · 29/10/2010 10:55

Oh thanks. I've ordered the graphite peony bag and the navy spotty top. I do love spots Grin and the patent satchel I got in the summer sale has been the best bag ever!

HotchpotchHoney · 29/10/2010 10:57

:( i want to place an order but not without the code working. anyone?

NothereisnobodylurkingbehindU · 29/10/2010 10:59

Hotchpotch I found that but it takes it off if you actually click on the yellow 20%?

NothereisnobodylurkingbehindU · 29/10/2010 11:00

The code that came up for me was PRK2?

HotchpotchHoney · 29/10/2010 11:00

yayy thank you- nothereisnobodylurkingbehindyou

bluecardi · 29/10/2010 11:01

Although there are navy trousers

polyhymnia · 29/10/2010 11:36

Many thanks for this Miche8. Got it to work by clicking on the spot and now doing some fantasy shopping.Another order here for the blue peony bag and navy spotty top - also a scarf and perhaps a tunic or two.

Any recommendations for knitwear staples based on previous seasons?

Happy with three quarter sleeves but don't understand why they have ignored previous comments in reviews etc asking for some longer skirts.

dexter73 · 29/10/2010 12:31

That is too weird looking at summer clothes when winter hasn't even started yet!

Oumasrusks · 29/10/2010 14:41

Thanks for the link. I just placed quite a big order :)

LadyGlencoraPalliser · 29/10/2010 14:51

Haven't even sorted out my winter wardrobe yet - how organised are you lot!

Meggles76 · 29/10/2010 16:10

Will def take adavntage of the 20% discount. Like the 70s sunnies for me and will get the staple breton top and maybe the cornwall tunic... need to have a proper look at kids stuff now!

Mum72 · 29/10/2010 16:27

The prices seem to have hiked again. Think they are now taking the piss. Nice that alot of it is - its now just overpriced for "what" it actually is. The last few items I have had have not been a wonderful in quality as "old boden" used to be.

Do you seriously buy your summer clothes in October? Do not worry your weight may fluctuate or you may not like what you have bought by the time you can wear it- next April at the earliest? Unless of course you are lucky enoughto be living or visiting somewhere warmer than the UK.Confused

gorehaginhellsbum · 29/10/2010 16:39

I'm thinking that the long sleeve spring scoop necks will be of better quality than the winter ones (like last year).
Nice colours and so will be ordering a few - do you pay when they dispatch them in Jan or now?

valiumskeleton · 29/10/2010 16:53

more of the same

Whoremoanghoul · 29/10/2010 16:59

I'm confused or colour blind, but the colour top worn by the model on this page does not match any of the listed colours.

Is it supposed to be the blue marl ?

here

I tend to buy accessories and basic tops now. Have been an 8-10 since having DC2 so don't expect to change size much...

josefa · 29/10/2010 17:11

Good grief whoremoan, you're right! I found that too - a lot of the model shot colours are totally different. Here's another example. If they're more like the photo/model shots, I'd prefer it, because the studio shot colours seem a bit saturated, and, well dodgy!

I'm a bit more hopeful though - there seem to be more that speaks to me this time than the previous 3 seasons, but then again you can never tell until it's arrived. There were quite a lot of muted colours but also some equally horrendous patterns that look like they've come from M&S granny dept circa 1985! Also, no actual garment measurements yet, which makes me hesitate to order. And what's with the no longer skirts these days? Confused

gorehaginhellsbum · 29/10/2010 17:15

whore - that looks like a charcoal one??

polyhymnia · 29/10/2010 17:20

Yes, combination of no reviews - unavoidable - and no proper measurement details - avoidable, and Boden should have included - makes it hard to decide on a lot of the items. Descriptions like 'low hip' and 'low thigh' don't help much unless you know the height of Boden's 'ideal woman'.

kittya · 29/10/2010 17:58

are you all seriously thinking of buying from there now, at this time of the year? Spring is the last thing on my mind, especially as their sale will be coming up very soon.

Im not able to look that far ahead, I dont even know what will be in fashion then!!

Ps, did you get emails with the link? Im so annoyed that I never seem to get any.
