Boden isnt really about "fashion" as such though is it?. I am off for a look as while i love Winter it seems 5 mimutes since it was here last and it`s nice to think Spring WILL come again

No, it certainly isnt about fashion!! but, Im all cosy in big jumpers. I love winter fashions.

SerendipityAlways · 29/10/2010 18:58

So what are you putting in your fantasy shopping basket then? While I adore Winter wear, some of the lovely corals and pinks are very pretty to look at!

vintage4 · 29/10/2010 18:59

had a look and there are a couple of things i love but some very dodgy patterns and colours which is a shame as the actual styles are nice .Only ordered essential V cardigan really want silk dress with Cherry tree pattern

employmentlawquery · 29/10/2010 19:35

The sweet pea one here is very Barbara Cartland.

gorehaginhellsbum · 29/10/2010 19:50

Dusty lilac blossom vintage? I think that is lovely, buy it.
I'm terrible for thinking things will sell out and am trying to remember what mini boden stuff sold out quickly last year before I could get my sweaty little mitts on it!

MilaMae · 29/10/2010 19:52

Hope there is more coming as could see very little on MiniBoden that I'd buy, glad I stocked up and got bigger sizes last year now.

woopsidaisy · 29/10/2010 20:03

I like to get the boys stuff. So I will be getting lots of these, with lots of t-shirts,pjs and I think these. Will need these, and yet to decide on hoodys. They like the rib waist stuff,They will wear this stuff all summer, may as well get it with 20% off!

employmentlawquery · 29/10/2010 20:14

Even with 20% off that is a lot for a pac a mac though. Have you had one of those before and do you really think they are worth it?

Should we assume that the £10 off £30 code won't work on these? (I had a go earlier and it didn't work, but hope springs eternal).

sfxmum · 29/10/2010 20:24

the one thing I really want to get, although not very practical is the mini boden girl short all in one Grin I know it is silly but reminds of something I wore in the 70's

here
I probably won't but brings back memories

how hot are you planning on next Spring being?Smile

Im assuming the £30 get £10 off will work when it is officially out.

vesela · 30/10/2010 15:51

All clothes prices are going up for a number of reasons - increase in VAT (for adults, anyway), high cotton prices because of floods in Pakistan, the weak pound and higher shipping costs. It stands to reason that it would be first visible with Boden because they get their spring collection out early, but it sounds as if it will be noticeable with others as well.

Faaamily · 30/10/2010 15:54

The dresses are vile. Johnny Boden is losing the plot.

vesela · 30/10/2010 15:54

that said, Boden seems to have gone up a fair more than 5% or whatever the average increase is supposed to be!

vesela · 30/10/2010 16:16

The dresses are indeed vile, except for a shift dress in a red check print, but there are some quite nice tunics (but not this crazed doll with turkey neck one). Also two inches off the hem seems to equal twenty quid off the price for some reason.

kittya · 30/10/2010 17:41

Its gone up loads the past couple of year, but have you noticed there are a lot more reductions going on?

maxybrown · 30/10/2010 18:59

The boys macs are fab whoever asked about those! they are lined in jersey. Have had the full zip versions last couple of years which I probably prefer, but they are really nice and last through autumn too

hobbittoes · 30/10/2010 19:57

here you go

hobbittoes · 30/10/2010 19:59

Sorry lost my way there Confused

Agree with everyone that dresses really uninspiring this time.

Skirts not thrilling either - choice of on the knee ones very limited. Nothing long. The 'new midi' look - admittedly hard to get right - has obviously passed them by. There is a button-through denim, but I'd be more tempted by one shaped like last year's Stella McCartney denim skirt than the pencil shape offered.

employmentlawquery · 31/10/2010 15:51

Is it very bad that I really like the peony print in the shift dress and the light duffel coat?

(I would probably look to the sale to get them though)

MrsC2010 · 31/10/2010 16:54

Hmmm, still prefer their winter ranges I think.
