Of course it does Bunny Grin

Blimey at 45 there is just no hope then for me Zombi....

traceybath · 28/10/2010 15:52

I am so not stylish Grin Lordy if you could see me sat here in my comfy clothes and poncho.

Bella - what are you going to wear - you alwyays have lovely clothes? And Bunny is tres chic too.

Zombi - ok at 5,7 and a size 8 you're going to look fab in anything.

The kate moss range at topshop hits the stores on the 2nd november - could be worth a look.

zombishambles · 28/10/2010 15:57

bellavita - shush now - just cos I cant carry stuff off doesnt mean you cant Smile

I dont mind the topshop stuff for summer but some of its quite badly made in the Kate Moss range and a bit shiny for winter. Will have a look though yes.

I'll go through all this and then end up clumping over in some old tut from the back ofthe wardrobe...ho hum.

Are people going in proper party dresses then? How fab.

Tracey, don't fib, you could make a sack look bloody gorgeous. I have a lbd from French Connection, although when I tried it on for DH he said he wasn't keen because it didn't show off my figure.. >

pickledbabe · 28/10/2010 16:03

so, do you want something with lots of detail over the tummy, then? cos that might draw attention to it.

you might be better going for something nicely fitted, and have the tummy, rather than something a bit flared like it looks like you're trying to hide it.

what colours do you normally wear for work?

I know you've said stay away from bright colours, but what about having a bright colour as a complement colour? like I said with the belt and cardi.

do you want to stick with grey for this dress, or can we find a different colour?

pickledbabe · 28/10/2010 16:05

cos, see this will only look good on people with no tummy at all]] (and probably a bit wider than size 8) I 'm just trying to paint a picture...

pickledbabe · 28/10/2010 16:06

and this one is beautiful, but if you're worried about your tummy, it might look odd, see?

pickledbabe · 28/10/2010 16:07

shitr, screwed up the first link!! Blush

this is what i meant here:
"cos, see this will only look good on people with no tummy at all (and probably a bit wider than size 8) I 'm just trying to paint a picture.."

pickledbabe · 28/10/2010 16:08

but this one won't show a tummy at all, and you have to be thin to show it off.

traceybath · 28/10/2010 16:10

I love this and would be very flattering.

Very flattering again but better price and am sure there's a 20% off code somewhere.

traceybath · 28/10/2010 16:13

Bella - my DH is like that. I think men tend to prefer more obvious clothes Hmm Good job we don't dress for them Wink

Rannaldini · 28/10/2010 16:14

the temperley dress is divine

pickledbabe · 28/10/2010 16:16

bellavita · 28/10/2010 16:18

tracey - I have inboxed you. Those two dresses are lovely.

zombishambles · 28/10/2010 18:43

Sorry have been commuting and picking up from nursery and doing tea - am now in a brief lull before baths - that cheaper phase eight is very good.

Normally at work I wear muted colours - atm its very autumnal - some purple and tweed and camel. On dressier days that is - on non-dressy days its slouchy brown bikers and topshop biker skinny jeans with a belted cardi.

I see what you mean pickledbabe about the tummy - I normally wear quite tight dresses tbh but am having some health problems and so my tummy is uncontainable without sucky-inny pants and then there wont be much buffet. And I do love a buffet.

Budgets got to be under 100 I think as I might only wear it twice Blush

I know, am going to order one I think - does anyone know what size they come up - havent bought anything from them before - I'm very small on top but bigger in the hips. Some shops I'm an 8 but Top Shop I'm in between 8 and 10.
