Boots, straight leg jeans - help!!!!

Can anyone suggest a style of boots for straight leg jeans. Have tried tucking them into my knee length boots, but I don't like that they are then baggy around my knees. Have tried jeans over long boots, but that doesn't look right either. I don't wear heels (am tall) so I need some ideas and inspiration.

I think you need to get skinny jeans and then they will be fine with the boots you have.

I'm liking ggirl's suggestion or a short biker type boot. Something chunky with either a square toe if you've little feet or a round toe if you're bigger than about a 5/6.

Do you wear jeans tucked into those gg? Dont they look a bit baggy and mannish?

cos don't like any shoes in winter that are flat

I wear boots under my straight leg jeans. Not knee high boots but ankle boots to keep my ankles warm!

Thanks for suggestions so far. Am too wide of hip and thigh for skinny jeans (and think they best suit women in their 40's who have a better figure than mine).

Have been wearing them with suede pumps since the weather got colder, but getting chilly feet now.

I cant wear a dainty jazz shoe am too tall.

Scared why not try skinnies? You may have to wear longer tops but its worth it

at size 16 will need a tent to cover my tummy but I have a really nice tunic that looks shit with straight legs so never wear it
