Fit flops SUPERBOOTS are FAB !

Shhhh · 06/10/2010 11:22

Treated myself (well dh treated me actually !) to a pair and they arrived yesterday. I wore them on the school run last night, then wore them on a family walk and the school run again today...

I can honestly say I have NEVER had such a comfy pair of boots. I usually loive in uggs come the winter BUT will mostly wearing fitflops ones now!

I got the superboots which are leather, they are a soft leather and fab..

£125 may be a bit pricy BUT imo cheaper than uggs, and just if not more comfy.

no, no, you must all pretend they are horrible and I am not missing out on wearing them! AngryGrin

faustina · 07/10/2010 07:53

I sent mine back if that's any help Fanjo! The suede tall ones: spots of glue on them, and HUGE welly-like legs - not the lovely soft slouchy slim fitting proportions I'd been expecting

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 07/10/2010 07:55

yes..thank you! Grin

holytoast · 07/10/2010 08:12

Can I just ask, what exactly do the fit flops etc help with? Like if you have bad posture, do they help? Or is it just toning? Have any of you found they actually do work for the bum etc?

I have a bad back and poor stomach muscles etc from C sect, on my feet all day at work, wondered if they might help. (and just googled them and they look yummy, Dh would go mad if I bought another pair of boots, this might be my excuse!)

diddl · 07/10/2010 08:14

My heavens they´re ugly!

Sort of thing I usually buy due to riding a bike so often, not through choice!

Would they work whilst bike riding?BlushGrin

fanjoforthemammaries7850 · 07/10/2010 08:16

I did feel they toned me up (the sandals) also I have dodgy knees and they were much less sore.

Didn't help my bad back and weak tum though.

holytoast · 07/10/2010 08:21

hmm...I mean they're nice, but maybe not 190 quid nice (dont like the short ones so much as the long ones) If I could justify it for helping my back though...

miche8 · 07/10/2010 09:23

What are you wearing the tall boots with? i'm hoping skinny jeans will fit in them?

I dont think the short ones are going to look right with leggings/skinny jeans/skirts.

Shhhh · 07/10/2010 10:19

miche, the short ones imo look fab with tights and leggings (just like uggs), not tried jeans as im not a skinny jeans person (but that said I did receive boden straight leg jeans yesterday but not impressed...Hmm)

BUT the straight leg jeans fitted inside fine.

To those that asked about toning etc, I didn't noticed a difference BUT dh did actually comment over the summer that he thought my bum looked toned Hmm So I would take that as the green light !

I think it also would help with posture etc.

diddl, they look better on than in the pictures !

Blimey I paid much more than £125 for tall ones in leather Blush Where did you find yours?

I think they are not the most glamorous boots in the world but they are so comfy I don't care, I've decided they'll be my school run, going to shops boots and I'll save a prettier pair for going out

Lizzylou · 07/10/2010 11:12

Oh I sooo want the tall ones in Olive!

PandaEis · 07/10/2010 11:45

i want some of these but cant afford to pay £190 for them!! i have seen some on ebay for relatively cheapSmile but they look a bit moonboot-y and i know DH will take the pee if i get them but a sacrifice for a nicer bum may be warrantedGrin

plus if the reports are to believed, snow is on the way and i could do with a good pair of snow bootsSmile

polyhymnia · 07/10/2010 11:49

Wore my FF Mukluks all through the snow last winter and they dealt with it brilliantly, so that is certainly a good reason to buy!

Shhhh · 07/10/2010 11:53

mrsshackleton, the tall ones are more than 3125.. think more like £190 as panda said. So don't think you were ripped off !

PandaEis · 07/10/2010 12:07

its these onesSmile

brimfull · 07/10/2010 12:20

i want the short leather ones
sold out in JL yesterday
the sheepskin ones are easy to get on and I have high instep
I also tried on the clogs-didn't get as they look too like slippers
The black leather trainers are quite nice though , may get those.
They are so comfy , i have plantar fasciitis and they let me walk miles without any pain.

polyhymnia · 07/10/2010 16:09

Oh dear, have now tried both the suede and the leather FF short super boots in brown and, as I feared, just can't decide between them. Both have pros and cons. But can't afford to keep both. Help!!

notapizzaeater · 07/10/2010 16:15

PandaEis - have you checked M & M direct - they have some fitflops like these but you can only order by phone - unfortunatly recycled my leaflet but am sure they where £50 ish ....

mrsshackleton · 07/10/2010 17:08

Phew, I've bankrupted myself buying my tall pair, couldn't see how I'd been ripped off Grin

They have been on my feet all day, are exceptionally comfy and I am officially an old lady

GalanthusNivalis · 07/10/2010 17:48

I picked up mine in Amethyst suede yesterday but I don't like them! Like Faustina I think they are too wide on the leg and as if theat wasn't bad enough the size 6 is too big on the foot, but like Fanjo I'll never get my foot into a smaller size (high insteps!). I'm looking at some Doc Martens instead...store.drmartens.co.uk/p-5363-dr-martens-gianna-boot.aspx

katiepotatie · 07/10/2010 20:45

I want the snugger ones too Grin need a lottery win though Grin

notapizzaeater · 07/10/2010 21:17

Went looking through my recycling bin and the snuggler ones are £29.99 at M & M but phone orders only.

PandaEis · 07/10/2010 21:57

oooh thanks notapizzaeater il have a lookSmile i was looking on ebay and theres a pair to bid on (and im the winning bidder at the moWink) but im low-balling the bid so i prob wont win themGrin

Shhhh · 09/10/2010 08:59
