i've always loved these with leggings/jeans and boots in the winter and intend to go all out again this year Grin but want to get a couple more.

Apart from a the Hush Henley and Great Plains black stripey number have you seen any fabulous ones that don't cost a bomb?
I do have my eye on one from The White Company but thats strictly of my price range.

TIA

Ah, I was going to suggest the White Company. What about Boden?

hf128219 · 03/10/2010 21:32

M&S? Too tired to attempt links!

bishboschone · 03/10/2010 21:47

OhCobblers · 03/10/2010 21:47

hf128219 · 04/10/2010 20:06

Also some in Warehouse.

Magicmayhem · 04/10/2010 20:22

links ladies links..... Smile

PlumSykes · 04/10/2010 20:26

I have this, it's lovely, quite thick and jumper-like, but does make my norks look really huge. Think I'll be sending it back.

celticlassie · 04/10/2010 20:50

I like this

noddyholder · 04/10/2010 20:51

this is nice and not expensive

noddyholder · 04/10/2010 20:53

nice too

OhCobblers · 04/10/2010 21:35

HF have seen a black/grey stripey number in Warehouse - very nice.

Noddy - loving the Zara one but not a big fan of RI anymore (i feel far too old for it!).

Celtic : i've always loved that NExt but saw it intore and seems quite heavy/bulky - i can't wear jumpers like that as i overheat very quickly, but i didn't try it on. do you have it?

Plum the warehouse link doesn't seem to work?

Dancer I do like the Boden one but to be honest if i was able to shop with that budget i'd pop to White Co first - its one of my fave shops you see!

celticlassie · 04/10/2010 21:41

No, just saw it on website - might go and see it at the weekend. I think it might be a bit long on me though, am very small.

noddyholder · 04/10/2010 21:43

I don't do river island either but I do like that Have seen teh zara one it comes in a beigey colour too

blushingm · 04/10/2010 21:44

weirdly enough I bought that next one this afternoon - it's not too bulky and hangs nicely but it's still quite warm

Meggles76 · 04/10/2010 21:53

Have just ordered beige and black stripe one from Warehouse

TheNextMrsDepp · 04/10/2010 22:45

This is quite nice, not too thick and woolly.

OhCobblers · 06/10/2010 18:36

tried on the Zara one today - looked great on the hanger but not on me!

Warehouse ones very nice.

Tried on the White company ribbed tunic that i'd been lusting after but it didn't look that good on. However, their navy merino wool tunic with 2 pockets was fab!!

OP posts:
Millie1 · 06/10/2010 22:33

Did you get the fab White Co tunic OhCobblers? Please say yes Grin

OhCobblers · 06/10/2010 22:40

millie1 : i didn't - just tried it on so i knew which size i had to tell DH to buy me for Xmas!!

i was rather surprised by it - thought it looked a bit of a non event on the hanger but when "on", so much nicer!!

i recommend you buy yourself one definitely!!

OP posts:
Millie1 · 06/10/2010 22:45

Get your DH to order it now incase it sells t Grin.

No, no, no! Am happy with my White Co tunic although until I find the perfect black leggings I can't wear it Hmm.

Am glad you found one you like though Smile

OhCobblers · 06/10/2010 22:48

which WC tunic do you have?

i read a thread here ages ago (maybe even last year) about leggings and Oasis had been recommended.
i bought a black pair and love them.

OP posts:
Granard · 06/10/2010 23:39

I bought a Boden tunic - it's the one with the velvet trim. My first ever Boden purchase and I can't believe how poor the quality is for the price - £79. I'd have got the same in Primark for a tenner!

Is Boden normally such bad quality?

Sorry, don't mean to hijack this thread.

polyhymnia · 07/10/2010 10:29

OhCobblers - is the WC merino tunic with pockets quite generously sized ? Anyone got the WC tunic with pockets in cotton/ modal, now reduced to £38. 50? If so, what do you think of it?
