Have just ordered a pair of these but am now having a crisis of confidence - I've been a jeans-over-boots woman for ever and am not naturally stylish, so could do with advice from you wise lot please!

I think they're really nice and will look great with skinny jeans.

KnitterInTheNW · 28/09/2010 12:08

I've had a pair of those for 4 or 5 years now, and wear them to death every autumn/winter/spring with everything. I love them!

LouMacca · 28/09/2010 12:10

Love them. Which colour did you get?

witchwithallthetrimmings · 28/09/2010 12:10

they are lovely but the classic 8 holes ones have really started to tempt me again

SleepWhenImDead · 28/09/2010 12:14

I have been thinking about them too. I used to have green DMs as a teenager! Are they water/showerproof? Did you get them straight from the site?

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 28/09/2010 12:14

I've got those in brown and red, they are lovely. Really comfy and look great.

I'm eyeing up the new peacock colour at the moment, but I really don't need more bootsBlush

DaisySteiner · 28/09/2010 12:16

I got the dark brown ones - almost got the reddish-brown but I'm a big-foot size 8 and they'd sold out of that size.

Glad they meet with approval so far!

If I get many more positive replies I will rip the labels off and wear them to uni this afternoon Grin

Agree they look lovely. You could wear them tucked in or with jean/trousers over the top (or with skirts too?) couldn't you?

netbook · 28/09/2010 12:19

likey likey, get those labels ripped off!

SleepWhenImDead · 28/09/2010 12:34

Just found a code for www.cloggs.co.uk - NSP10 gets you £10 off.

SleepWhenImDead · 28/09/2010 12:38

Sorry the peacock ones can't have the code applied to them!

BikeRunSki · 28/09/2010 12:44

I love them and my big gruffalo size 8 feet have been clad in them for 4 or 5 years. Got the red ones first, then brown and have a similar style in black.

I wear them with jeans tucked in, jeans over and with skirts.

They are very warm and dry in winter weather.

I am currently ogling the purple and teal ones.

SleepWhenImDead · 28/09/2010 12:56

Ah according to the amazon reviews they say it suits narrow feet - do those of you with them have narrow feet? I have really wide feet so this could be an issue. I feel a trip to Schuh coming along to find out!

snowmummy · 28/09/2010 13:45

Actually, my brown mols have pretty much had their day and I may get a pair of the doc martens to replace them. What's the fitting like around they calf?

nicolamumof3 · 28/09/2010 15:04

love them!

notinmypocket · 28/09/2010 15:30

They are great.

Haven't thought of DM's since my teenage years...but am getting these!
Thanks DaisySteiner, you saved me lots of time looking for some cool new comfy boots!

DaisySteiner · 28/09/2010 16:39

I'm glad they met with your approval! I opened the door wearing them earlier and my friend went "oh my god, I love your boots" before she'd even said hello, LOL.

crikeybadger · 28/09/2010 16:45

got 'em, love'em, but they did leak Sad

knobbingnowt · 28/09/2010 17:38

I have a brown and black pair, brown pair leaks thou.

Do love them.

SleepWhenImDead · 29/09/2010 14:23

Tried these on today, were really nice. Now to decide on colour...

NinjaChipmunk · 29/09/2010 16:59

v nice, i want these

BikeRunSki · 29/09/2010 18:16

Ninja I have those too! Leather is much softer and floppy than on t'others, and has a tendency to slide down.

Squiz · 29/09/2010 18:23

Also loving these boots, having spent many an unhappy hour googling black calf length boots!

Are they wide around the calves though or quite tight fitting - I need something narrowish?
Thanks

DurhamDurham · 29/09/2010 18:27

Lovely and timeless, you'll be wearing them for years. I want some....
