or not at all?

the only thing i'm not sure about is the patent bit, i LOVE the hardware and shape

and I never love bags (unless they are balenciaga and beyond my reach) and have been looking for one for eons.

Farkin' 'ell!!! £250????? I'D BE GRATEFUL FOR anything that cost £250!!!! But any handbag can come in black, so would probably say get the grey. If you then find you don't like it, my address is.... Grin

naffedoff · 23/09/2010 21:45

I normally wouldn't go for black as I think the other colours would be more useful and go with more clothes. However, the black does look the best in this case - the patent trim is too stark a contrast on the other colours imo.

yousaidit · 23/09/2010 21:46

And it is quite nice, actually, and i'm not a girly girl and hate fussy handbays. I get the plainest stitch free (iykwim) radley bags (from other people a`s presents) so go for it!

FerminaUrbinoDaza · 23/09/2010 21:47

The charcoal version. The black is a bit crass IMHO.

Purple

Heathcliffscathy · 23/09/2010 21:52

you're not helping me here as you're split down the middle.

it is 20% off (i know it's still loads, but my old handbag is so on it's last legs that even dh is whinging about being seen out with it).

i feel that the charcoal makes the patent more stark. but at the same time i like the charcoal better as a colour as black is too plain.

oh god...i'm going to lose my bottle and not get it and walk around with my h&m plastic falling apart one for another season aren't i?

said stop trying to be different :o

no i don't want a purple bag. it's got to be grey or black or maybe maybe for the right bag red.

most of my clothes are grey or brightly coloured (royal blue for eg) so it can't be purple.

FerminaUrbinoDaza · 23/09/2010 21:57

See, you want the charcoal, you just said so Grin

I'm afraid the black looks a bit 'market-y' to me.

Heathcliffscathy · 23/09/2010 22:02

[stamps foot] i want it in charcoal without the patent bit.

shite.

it's in my basket and everything.

i'm such a choker when it comes to big purchases...

OP posts:
FrancesFarmer · 23/09/2010 22:05

The charcoal looks better imo.

SofaQueen · 23/09/2010 22:11

Charcoal- more versatile than black.

summery · 23/09/2010 22:13

Definitely grey

Heathcliffscathy · 23/09/2010 22:18

should i just start looking again cause of the scary patent bit?

OP posts:
largeginandtonic · 23/09/2010 22:21

camel.

Grin

Sorry.

Heathcliffscathy · 23/09/2010 22:23

but it's not camel is it...it's sort of caramel vomit!

OP posts:
Heathcliffscathy · 23/09/2010 22:25

oh god shall i hit the buy button or not...arghhhh

OP posts:
apple99 · 23/09/2010 22:26

Camel, very versatile and much more expensive looking than black/grey Grin

bunnymother · 23/09/2010 22:28

I prefer the black, esp as patent trim seems to be black no matter what colour the main body is.

Heathcliffscathy · 23/09/2010 22:28

but it's not camel!!! that colour is no way camel!

If you're dithering you shouldn't buy it.

RambleOn · 23/09/2010 23:19

Save your money, at that price you're actually halfway to a Balenciaga Grin

Heathcliffscathy · 23/09/2010 23:21

hmmmm...purple and royal blue???

haven't bought it.

bugger.

OP posts:
finallynaptime · 23/09/2010 23:40

black

olderandwider · 24/09/2010 09:04

Can you get to the shop and look? You may instantly prefer one rather than the other. And depending on the 20% deal the shop may still honour it? Or get both and send one back?

Maryqueenofchocs · 24/09/2010 10:11

sophable hate to say it but I think the bag looks a bit cheap. The best colour is black imo, as I don't like the two tone versions, but tbh I think you can do better for your money?

Do you want a structured satchel'esk type specifically?
