Forgot to say, has anyone seen anything similar for quite a lot less?

teafortwo · 22/09/2010 20:14

They are beautiful!!! Grin

sandytoes79 · 22/09/2010 20:14

God, love them, I want them too! Saw these in clarks, which look nicer and lovely leather in RL, but none of the buckles that make those other boots so special. Hopefully someone else will be along in a minute to enlighten us!

Glad I'm not the only one, you'll all be thinking them in your sleep now tooGrin

Those Rocket dog ones are not bad at all, and the Clarks ones too for that matter, Its just the lovely scruffy piratey look of them that seems to be what you pay an extra hundred quid for (that I don't have!)

OP posts:
TwasEverThus · 22/09/2010 20:54

The Rocket Dogs aren't leather though.

wingandprayer · 22/09/2010 20:58

God they are lovely Barking

Kurt Geiger Sandbank boots are similar but not much price difference at £150!

Rocket Dog ones nice but not leather. I really like their shoes but resent paying that much for plastic.

Have you had a look at M&S? They had copies of Russell and Bromley boots last year for fraction of price. Boots I saw in local store recently certainly looked promising.

BarkingUpTheWrongTree · 22/09/2010 21:54

I will check out M&S, I don't mind copies, but yeah you're right about the leather thing, that's alot to pay for plastic bootsShock

BarkingUpTheWrongTree · 22/09/2010 22:01

Ooh, Scotsgirl thanks for all of those, will be going through them all in fine detail! on first glance though I like the first Aldo ones and have an Aldo near me so might wander along for a little look!

saltcod · 22/09/2010 22:20

Love your 2nd to last link Scotsgirl. Sadly too pricey for me & I'm guessing they wouldn't be that comfy either!

scotsgirl23 · 22/09/2010 22:27

He he, I have a slight shoe fetish

saltcod · 22/09/2010 22:43

[http://www.aldoshoes.com/uk/trends/american-heritage/women/80413912-halat/28 more buckles]

saltcod · 22/09/2010 22:44

duh... try again more buckles

LastOrdersAgain · 22/09/2010 22:46

Love the Aldo ones. The original ones linked are just gorgeous, but toooo pricey.

sandytoes79 · 23/09/2010 10:16

Saw boots&Rf-700=1000&Rf-200=26,16,4,10&Rf900=1447,1565,1561&Rf44=342&Rf79=655,657&sh=0&pge=0&pgesize=20&sort=-1&clr=Taupe these and thought of BUTWT- different again from what you linked to, but more of a piraty scruffy look

Iatemyskinnyperson · 23/09/2010 14:09

how about these

have the buckles, but with laces aswell. I tried them on, liked them a lot, am planning to go back to get them

jamaisjedors · 23/09/2010 14:29

asos blowfish similar?

BigusBumus · 23/09/2010 14:52

What about these Bench ones from Very. At £85 they are good value and real leather. Plus if you are a first time customer you get something like £15 off....

BigusBumus · 23/09/2010 15:00

The code for being a first time very account holder is:

ZZ018

This gets you £20 when you spend over £40, thus making the above boots only £65, and as an account holder you don't have to pay yet either!
