Yay! I did it and I love it!

I've just come back from the hairdressers, after having a 'big curl perm' and I'm so pleased with it.

I have had long layered fine straight hair so fancied and change after curling it with irons for months.

Will post some before and after photos later.

Had my hair set on big rollers with plenty of body on top and curls coming down from hairway to the bottom of my hair.

Hope that makes sense.

Me too. My hair is crap. Its so thin and bleugh.

Its been all thick and yum for a few years due to pregnancy bloomage, didnt loose it after DC4 and got pg again quite quickly. Unfortuantely now DC5 is 5 mths old its all fallen out and I am virtually bald!

Boo flippin hoo.

I keep thinking about this.

My hair used to be poker straight before kids but now it almost curly.

I say almost because its not anything I could wear naturally, I'd look like I'd just got out of bed.

So am thinking about just going curly so I don't have to straighten everyday!

I have very fine hair and straighten mine but I'm not sure I'm doing myself any favours in the "Make it look a bit thicker" stakes. It'd be interesting to see if big curls help.
