I've just come back from the hairdressers, after having a 'big curl perm' and I'm so pleased with it.

I have had long layered fine straight hair so fancied and change after curling it with irons for months.

Will post some before and after photos later.

Thanks. One of the main reasons I had it done is that my hair is fine and flyaway and once the weather starts getting cold and wet my hair looks awful the minute I leave the house.

I've just spent a couple of hours in Manchester, its cold and rainy and my hair still looks good!

I washed it for the first time this morning, left it until it was nearly dry and then finished it off with the defuser.

Oooh lovely :-) I have just booked to have one in December (had my hair done yesterday and asked about it). I have highlights too, and have done for years. Apparently it's fine to have it on highlighted hair, but you need to wait a while after you've had it done - the two can't ever be done at the same time.

Have added one more which looks clearer.

Oh wow thanks Agent - no-one has EVER said my hair looks gorgeous.

Hairdresser said it will last between 6 - 8 weeks but can have it done again once it drops out. Can also straighten it and the curls will come back when washed.
