These ones.

I want some purple shoes, closed toe, with a heel that is bigger than 1sqcm when it hits the ground. The heel can be high, but it cannot be narrow.

So what's wrong with these ones? They're cheap too.

Trills, but they are like granny shoes..

SecretNutellaFix · 15/09/2010 21:28

They look quite nice and classic.

I only wear trainers or non-fashionalble shoes (for work)

Librashavinganotherbiscuit · 15/09/2010 21:29

I can see why people think they may be granny stylee but I don't necessarily think that is a bad thing, in fact I think they would be quite nice with dresses.

Eglu · 15/09/2010 21:29

My MIL would like those. She is 70

c0rns1lk · 15/09/2010 21:30

Don't like 'em sorry

TrillianAstra · 15/09/2010 21:30

If they are granny shoes then help me!

Are all shoes with non-stiletto heels granny shoes? In that case tough, I will have to have granny shoes. Or is there some magical kind of shoe that is not granny?

I don't like them, but they are not terrible.

I still fear hell if it helps...

Whoamireally · 15/09/2010 21:33

I have never ever seen a pair of shoes in M&S that are not grannytastic.

LinaLamont · 15/09/2010 21:33

I don't think they'd be Granny-ish if you wore them with skinny jeans, fish-nets or purple tights and funked them up.

I'm with you on your heel quest!

ASmallBunchOfFlowers · 15/09/2010 21:34

They are a bit Granny-goes-to-a-wedding. But then my personal style is a bit Granny-goes-to-a-wedding. Blush

I like them in purple.

morethanyoubargainfor · 15/09/2010 21:34

In that case i must be a granny then Grin.

i quite like them

LynetteScavo · 15/09/2010 21:35

It depends where you plan to wear them.

OK for a job interview.

Not OK to wear with a long skirt on the school run. Why do some people dress like that?

TrillianAstra · 15/09/2010 21:35

So if I wear coloured or patterned tights I'm allowed?

TrinityTheLonelyBrokenRhino · 15/09/2010 21:35

I'm with you on the quest for not teeny narrow heels
but I'm afriad I think we are going to be stuck with granny shoes

TrillianAstra · 15/09/2010 21:36

I wouldn't ever wear heels with a long skirt anyway Lynette - and I don't have a school run.

ASmallBunchOfFlowers · 15/09/2010 21:37

I think coloured shoes demand coloured tights. Just ditch the Nude 15 deniers.

AmazingBouncingFerret · 15/09/2010 21:38

hmm grannyish.
With certain outfits I could see them working.
I wouldnt wear them with a skirt.

AnyFucker · 15/09/2010 21:38

horrid

spiritmum · 15/09/2010 21:39

I bought a pair of purple satin slingback peeptoes the other day - slight platform and a 5 inch heel that was chunky not skinny - and I can walk in them, too.

Sorry, not much help, just needed to share. They were only £19 in a vintage shop, too.

Maryqueenofchocs · 15/09/2010 21:39

no no no no no no no no

bellavita · 15/09/2010 21:39

these

tethersend · 15/09/2010 21:40

The only purple shoes I can find which I like are these and these

I don't think I'm helping TBH.

MadameCastafiore · 15/09/2010 21:40

Whats wrong with them? They are cheap to!!

YES THEY LOOK IT!!!!!

TrillianAstra · 15/09/2010 21:42

Bella those are stilettos. That is not what I asked for.

Tethers the brogue thingys are horrid, and the South ones are more grannyish than my initial ones I think.

TrillianAstra · 15/09/2010 21:43

AH, you can always rely on MN for a bit of abuse Grin
