I bought a dress whilst in Spain and was wondering what you all thought of the brand generally.

Agree with Bunny. Looks like the after effects of a damn good party.

Tortington · 14/09/2010 11:06

i generally love the long sleeved tshirts and some of the skirts

i adore the coats but would never have occasion to wear one

some of their other stuff is mingin' but i adore the coats , some skirts and long sleeved t's

ShowOfHands · 14/09/2010 11:08

Oh I love desigual stuff.

But I'm a hippy.

Too ££ though.

SerendipityAlways · 14/09/2010 11:11

Sorry, I dont like the label either! Plus now theres an outlet store opened up near me and every second worman seems to be wearing their dresses and coats.

The designs are just too much in your face for me.

Flighttattendant · 14/09/2010 11:13

Sorry but I have only noticed that name while horror struck at something in Fenwicks window.

It's not nice. It's bad. Saying that there could be individual pieces that are not hideous...can you show us your frock?

Flighttattendant · 14/09/2010 11:14

Oh no, sorry SOH! I swore never to disagree with you on ANYTHING Shock

BunnyLebowski · 14/09/2010 11:15

But it's so easily identifiable. Up there with wearing FCUK or D&G plastered across your chest.

It's a wee bit too 'Look at me aren't I quirky and artistic' for me.

ASmallBunchOfFlowers · 14/09/2010 11:17

On the whole I like it, but then I am an old hippy very creative.

Flighttattendant · 14/09/2010 11:19

It is like wearing floral DM boots.

I'm not sure why I dislike this.

vinvinoveritas · 14/09/2010 11:24

I loved it when only I wore it but now that it's so accessible to the masses I don't like it so much.

vinvinoveritas · 14/09/2010 11:25

but I do still have some skirts/tops which I wear in the summer so I don't yet hate it, I like the party-picasso look

this one. I thought it was quite jolly. It is moy cheaper in Spain, equivalent of £50 rather than £80.

Some of it is a bit hideous and the logo is too prominent, but I rather like this. I can also breastfeed in it which is my primary style criteria these days.

I thought it might elicit some strong opinions.

Flight, where fashion is concerned, you do the right thing by disagreeing with me. I am a pariah. And wouldn't actually wear desigual as I didn't make it myself from curtain remnants.

Seriously, I'm 50% patchwork and 50% patchouli, all set off with floral DMs. I wear them so you don't have to. It's a service really.

mrsgordonfreeman · 14/09/2010 11:46

I used to wear 8 hole cherry red DMs teamed with a flowery dress from C&A. I craved floral DMs at the time but switched to vintage Airwalks for the sake of my chafed ankles.

I'm a bit more tailored these days but can be swayed by the right print.

BunnyLebowski · 14/09/2010 11:52

Me too mrsgordonfreeman Grin. Loved my cherry docs. Wore them with over the knee socks and a floral slip dress with a short sleeved bodysuit (Shock) underneath.

Bridget Fonda in Singles and Winona Ryder in Reality Bites were my grunge style icons Grin.

God I feel all old and boring now Sad.

ValiumSingleton · 14/09/2010 11:57

Not a fan.

mrsgordonfreeman · 14/09/2010 11:58

But, Bunny, did you always do up the crotch poppers?

I remember that there was always a point in the evening where I stopped bothering.

I have a friend that I used to call 'onion' because of her many layers, body, leggings, dress, Smiths t shirt, saggy cardigan...

She'd love this dress. Must show her.

Not keen tbh.

I think I would get fed up of it very quickly so couldn´t justify the price.

Bought something very gaudy colourful this morning but only ?15, so won´t feel too bad if I don´t wear it for years.

EdgarAllInPink · 14/09/2010 12:10

love it .

JustAnother · 14/09/2010 12:26

I used to like it when it was unique. Now, every market stall in Spain has cheap imitations, and the look has become too "usual". Don't like it anymore.

partyhats · 14/09/2010 12:44

yuk, yuk, yuk, stay away, their stuff looks likes someones been sick on it.

bethjeff · 14/09/2010 12:45

I'm much of the same- loved it when I came home from Barcelona with unique clothes... bored seeing folk poncing around in the same coats.

Boo.

Next trend please!!

bishboschone · 14/09/2010 12:46

overpriced shite..made in China ime.

BalloonSlayer · 14/09/2010 12:54

Oh I saw this in most active and thought it was on Baby Names.

Clicked immediately to say "Not sure, but how is it pronounced? What about Dougal?"
