It is lovely....do you know any good "knitters" who could do something similar for half the price?

Crapweasel · 03/09/2010 20:17

I wouldn't buy anything that's handwash only for my DD.

But then I probably wouldn't for myself either....

Northernlurker · 03/09/2010 20:18

it's pretty but you need to knpw that she loves it for it to be worth that

carriedababi · 03/09/2010 20:19

i don't really know any knitters sadly

i don't really mind hand washing as its only small

MollysChambers · 03/09/2010 20:22

It's lovely but I wouldn't spend that myself and I wouldn't buy anything that can't be treated with stain remover and bunged on a hot wash if need be.

scurryfunge · 03/09/2010 20:24

This is pretty and only £10

M and S

lal123 · 03/09/2010 20:26

"less stuff, but nicer" - nice til you have to wash it.

Habbibu · 03/09/2010 20:29

This one?

lal123 · 03/09/2010 20:31

That's nice Habbibu - AND you get a hat!

Habbibu · 03/09/2010 20:32

Fair isle

Oartistic · 03/09/2010 20:33

Not v keen myself as I'm not that keen on cerise-y colours - though if I bought it, I'd ignore the handwash label and put it in the machine on a delicates cycle.

Have you looked at Boden?

Habbibu · 03/09/2010 20:33

another fair isle - like this

Coca · 03/09/2010 20:33

that is a lot of money for a 3 yr old but hey if you have that kind of money go for it.

carriedababi · 03/09/2010 20:33

hmmm quite liek the autograph one, not keen on the other though.

why do you care what we think? lol

it's your little girl, you should dress her how you like :)

Coca · 03/09/2010 20:35

good point

NoahAndTheWhale · 03/09/2010 20:37

Quite like some of those M&S ones. The Monsoon one has rather flappy sleeves (plus costs a lot more than I'd pay for a dress for me - so DD unlikely to get one costing that much Grin)

carriedababi · 03/09/2010 20:39

oh i really like the purple fair isle one, i might get that.

yes i've looked at boden going to also get this... but ive definatley decided on that yellow one

here

ilovesprouts · 03/09/2010 20:48

its nice ..but not the price

carriedababi · 03/09/2010 20:57

reason i'm asking is because i can't decide whever to order it or not!

OP posts:
scurryfunge · 03/09/2010 20:59

If you can afford it, go for it.

cornsilk909 · 03/09/2010 21:00

It is definitely gorgeous. but is it practical Carrie? I have boys so no nothing of this pretty dress business.

thisisyesterday · 03/09/2010 21:03

if you don't mind handwashing then go for it i reckon

if you really love it

carriedababi · 03/09/2010 21:04

hi corny, well i'm not to sure about the sleeves being short.

OP posts:
cornsilk909 · 03/09/2010 21:06

She could wear a top underneath I suppose. It is lovely. Would she get the wear out of it?
