Do you like padded bras?

I've recently bought some new bras after having breastfed forever and a day. Am very pleased how much nicer I look with a decent underwired bra! But I'm really surprised that the majority of bras in the shops seem to be padded. Do you wear padded or unpadded bras? Is it worth buying padded?

padded bras were a wonderful invention

They make me 'spill' in milkmaid-ish manner

I know I bang on and on about them but honestly, everyone needs to go to Rigby and Peller at least once in their lives just to feel what properly fitting bras feel like. Last year I went to M & S, John Lewis and Debenhams to be measured and was told I was 36 DD, 36 D and even 38 C. I must have tried on bloody hundreds of bras in each shop but they were all so uncomfortable. I eventually couldn't stand it so went up to Rigby and Peller where the girl just took one look and went off to get an armful of bras that I hardly realised I was wearing, they were all so comfortable - all size 34 E. Don't trust the provincial department store measurers!

Agree with NDP - buy the t-shirt ones for all the reasons she mentions!

Loved padded when I was younger and a bit flat - for some reason after babies my boobs have remained larger than previously - hurrah!

Have just bought two amazing bras, for those of us with no boobs left after feeding that is.

They are the most comfy bras I have ever tried!

Calvin Klein. Get them they're the best. You can get ones with a bit of padding in the bottom and ones without. I think the style is called formed cup.
