I quite like the chunky roll neck. Shame there isn't a better range of colours though.

The coats are totally vile. Nothing worth ordering in that department.

PaulineCampbellJones · 12/08/2010 16:35

What is Boden sizing like for babies? Does it come up small or large.
My DD will be 1 on 20th December so just working out what will fit her at Christmas time.

FranSanDisco · 12/08/2010 16:37

I quite like to cosy cable cardigan thingy but would need a bit more than 20% off to entice a purchase - £95.00 is a little steep for a wooly.

pirateparty · 12/08/2010 16:39

There is not much on it though, is there? I'm disappointed.

Pauline My ds is on the small side and for him the exact size for his age is perfect. He's on the 25 centile for height and weight though, so I'd say they probably come up a bit on the smaller size.

purplepeony · 12/08/2010 17:13

OMG- you got there before me- just got the email now! Am having a look but still trying to get my head round my Autumn preview order!

purplepeony · 12/08/2010 17:28

If anyone is interested I bought the boiled wool coat last year in dark grey- it has slip in pockets not patch pcokets- and it is very warm.

My first thought of this preview was- why so many short /no sleeves on tops and dresses it's winter FGS!

SerendipityAlways · 12/08/2010 17:35

My thoughts too. Was hoping they would do a re working of last Winters silk jersey mix colour block empire line dress, which I loved, but nothing to tempt me in this lot - just as well!! Things seem v. expensive too, lots of the dresses over £80!

The ruffle jersey top is v. nice though.

DomesticGoddessInTraining · 12/08/2010 17:41

Blimey, I'm still waiting for some of my Autumn preview stuff to be delivered!

PaulineCampbellJones - My DS is a bit on the small side too and tops etc in his correct 'age' fit him fine. Trousers are always big though and he's usually wearing a size younger.

vintage3 · 12/08/2010 17:46

your`e right purplepeony and why does the velvet things look so granny baggish. I love a bit of velvet in the Autumn/Winter

I've not had an-email yet...Does anybody have the 20% discount code...quite fancy the cosy cable coat.

purplepeony · 12/08/2010 18:11

Sorry no code as th email automatically redirects to the site.

Tell me about long cardis ladies- like the cosy cable coat- do you wear it in the house/office/work or outside with a coat on top?

wools · 12/08/2010 18:17

Oh I see. Hopefully they will e-mail me a bit later on. I would wear it on an autumn day instead of a coat with jeans or trousers and boots. Probably no good for very cold weather.

purplepeony · 12/08/2010 18:24

Thanks- I think I will give it a miss- it looks lovely but I feel the cold and as soon as it's chilly I'm in a wool coat.

FranSanDisco · 12/08/2010 18:27

I'd wear it as Wools described or under a trench coat.

traceybath · 12/08/2010 19:34

The code is PRV5 - it automatically appears in the promo box as soon as you add something to your basket.

I quite like this as has a bit of the VW anglomania about it

and this I think

And what do we think about the velvet jacket

carefulwiththataxe · 12/08/2010 19:52

Pencil skirt looks very nice........might be tempted by that. Can't see anything else that is nice AND a reasonable price....

FGM · 12/08/2010 19:55

I'm shocked to find a couple of things I'd like in Boden this year. Feels a bit like I'm selling my fashion soul...

Agree w Traceybath ab first top, not fussed ab jacket but I'm not a velvet jacket kinda person. Quite like this wooly for when it's freezing?

carefulwiththataxe · 12/08/2010 19:58

HMMM...velvet jacket looks very shiney....

NomDePlume · 12/08/2010 20:02

The prices are outrageous. Coats & dresses especially.

I like the cashmere kaftan but not at £110.

like toasty zip through in the prints and contemplating the chamonix need a really warm coat. Buy most of boden for the ds' not so much i like usually but need a quality warm coat that washes well.

hattymattie · 12/08/2010 20:14

Very disappointing and some things I can imagine my granny in - brown wool coat and brown sheepskin boots and that alpine cardigan!! Actually I think my Granny preferred more colours! I won't be buying until spring now. Also thing rapport quality price is not what it used to be.

iwilldothis · 12/08/2010 20:19

Only 3 things I like and all waaaay too expensive :(
