I need to so something about my hair, it is so thick and it is driving me crazy!
I am going to book an apointment with a hairdresser on Monday but i need some help deciding what to do with the mop as i have named it.
I have had my hair in this style for 10 years now, its time for a change!
Look on my profile the top picture should be a shot i just took. (please ignore the state of my face)

Please can someone help me decide on a new look i am rubbish at this sort of thing.

If anyone could like to a picture of a hairstyle that might suit me i would be greatful. Smile

i think just below chin length, layered bob, with longish fringe. will hunt pics

piratecat · 07/08/2010 10:28

here

will look great, as you can muck about with the fringe then, i have similar type, and i part my fringe on the side and secure with a sparkly clip sometimes. My hair is dark too, and i bet yours will look in great condition when all that length is gone!!

savoycabbage · 07/08/2010 10:28

I too think bob with fringe.

TitsalinaBumSquash · 07/08/2010 10:39

Im liking the bob with fringe idea. I need something to cover my giant fivehead. :)

Another vote for layered bob with longish fringe. If my hair was thick I would do that in a heartbeat.

piratecat · 07/08/2010 10:45

when you get that length off, and get it layered you can mess it up, i wish my hair was thicker as i liketo get a bit of volume in the crown but it always goes a bit flat.

Besom · 07/08/2010 10:59

Yes agree with piratecat. It should be roundish, longish and layered to suit your face shape. Post the pictures when it's done so we can see!

Well you look like you have reasonably thick hair but it's not what I was expecting.

It's the kind of hair a hairdresser would be pleased to get their hands on. Not too thick, not too thin, not too curly or straight.

I wouldn't have much length off and I definitely wouldn't have a fringe. I suggest layers that would frame your face.

Hope this helps. Wink
