it makes me nervous to think of how much I love it in case it gets ruined
Blu · 22/08/2005 14:10
Is there a website? I bought the best pair of winter trousers ever from the Toast section in Selfrdges. (but two years ago).

jenk, they are a ridiculously expensive clothing store who sell hand knitted socks for £50. And nice clothes. Which I can't afford.

But my trousers were about £50 and have been worn day in day out in winter for 2 years and have kept all shape!
marthamoo · 22/08/2005 14:13
They don't seem to do the socks anymore - shame, I was going to buy a pair.
EnidfromtheVILLAGE · 22/08/2005 14:13
I might get that denim skirt a friend has one and it is ace
mancmum · 22/08/2005 14:13
I love TOAST and will talk about it for hours... m currently wearing toast trousers one of 4 pairs I bought from selfridges in their sale total bargain all down to 40 quid... was a bit gutted about their web site though was going to buy a dress from the online sale and went back to find it all gone overnight with no warning...
I now own 6 pairs of Toast trousers, 1 top and a tshirt... addicted!!
EnidfromtheVILLAGE · 22/08/2005 14:15
mmmm with clunky high shoes and little cashmere sweater for evening
mancmum · 22/08/2005 14:16
this is my dress for the winter... assuming Ican get hands on enough child allowance
lovely frock
marthamoo · 22/08/2005 14:17
'..worn resting lightly on the hips rather than on the waist..' sounds like a muffin-top danger area to me, Enid.
Blu · 22/08/2005 14:19
I want the chunky alpaca cable-knit sweater, the carpenter skirt, the cord shift dress and the £50 socks, even tho' they don't exist.
Cod you are just such a tart!
EnidfromtheVILLAGE · 22/08/2005 14:19
I want that long sweater too the last one on the knitwear page
