It’s the sign for cuckold horns.

It’s ubiquitous now but my gran would have gone in and out through us for a short cut if we did it because she considered it such a slur.

Kcar · 03/11/2020 21:37

To be fair I had my ex down as dick and his ringtone was the imperial March from Star Wars.

anxiiousone · 03/11/2020 21:38

I do it to my dog when he's having his photo taken Grin

Kcar · 03/11/2020 21:38

Weirdness with posting going on 🤷🏼‍♀️

BexR · 03/11/2020 21:38

Wow. He thinks it's a secret sign and your partner chose to out himself as a paedophile in a family jokey picture.

He is unhinged.

Kcar · 03/11/2020 21:39

Ok weird posting going on

All the porn he watches is addling his brain.

Showing your DDs how he names you in his contacts is sickening.

LadyShrek2k19 · 03/11/2020 21:42

When I was at school it was a "kiss me now, f*ck me later".... but that was when I was 14 in secondary school.

I'm 36 now and it wouldn't be something I thought about!

LindaEllen · 03/11/2020 21:45

I was brought up thinking it meant you wanted to shag the person you were doing it to, which is obviously inappropriate seeing as people of all ages did it to people of various relations to them!

VashtaNerada · 03/11/2020 21:45

It used to mean that the person who ‘received’ the ears had been cheated on. It’s now just a silly prank to make it look like they have bunny ears. Your ex is mental.

RishiMcRichface · 03/11/2020 21:47

my gran would have gone in and out through us for a short cut this is a great saying I have never heard before, can I ask whereabouts in the country it comes from?

ghostmous3 · 03/11/2020 21:49

Yes I think that's where hes got it from..porn and from school.
But hes 39 and I'm 43 and I should imagine.noone gives it a second thought these days.

I know the contacts thing is disgusting. Theres a lot more going on and I'm trying not to be the one stopping contact..but my dds are making noises themselves now..and I'm listening to them

Your ex is a twat and just looking for any excuse to blow up. Any normal person would see the photo for what it is, your dp and dc goofing around. Tell him to get his mind out the gutter and fuck right off.

I have actually heard it mean what your ex says, but it clearly wasn't the intention so he's just being a dickhead.

Bunny ears has been around for decades and done by some ‘wit’ who thinks they are hilarious. So boring - yawn. Spoils the photo.

PawPrincess · 03/11/2020 21:58

It's just a joke to make them look like a play boy bunny... Sexual connotations.

PawPrincess · 03/11/2020 21:59

It's not a massively tasteful thing to do, but worse happens

Llyn · 03/11/2020 22:00

Also ‘kiss me now, fuck me later’ at my school in the 90s. But it never actually meant that iyswim? Nobody has ever in the history of bunny ears done that in order to intentionally invite someone to kiss or fuck them, on any timescale. It always just meant ‘haha I’ve ruined your nice picture and made you look foolish!’

Surely, even back when the cuckold thing was more commonly understood, the purpose was still to make someone look foolish?

chickenyhead · 03/11/2020 22:01

Ewwww

I have only ever known it as a photo bomb type thing. Certainly no longer indicates anything sexual to most people.

Is your ex down with paedo secret signals? Good to know.
