Can't find a thread so thought I'd start one nice and early for some pre chat.

Really don't think either England or Wales are going to get out of the pool rounds 🙁

I could discuss my love of the Fagersons all day long 😂 They were on the One Show the other day with the rest of the team-they were lovely with wee Caitlin(and they are also just as nice when the cameras are not on them!)

Gearing up to a good day of rugby watching! As a Scotland fan will be watching the Ireland/Romania game closely (i don’t think anyone will be expecting anything other than an Irish victory-but as the pool is so close, it may come down to points difference so hoping the Irish don’t score too many trys!)
I’m also looking forward to the England/Argentina game-I’m supporting the Argentinians (not because of a Scottish anyone but England mindset-but because we have some adorable Argentinian players at Glasgow/Edinburgh and so they are always my second team!)

The anthems have been awful so far- hope they don’t wreck FoS tomorrow.
Last nights game was interesting - mistakes on both sides and think that was NZ first ever RWC pool loss. They certainly seemed (unreasonably) shocked by some of the refereeing decisions!

I was a bit surprised by Scottish bench for tomorrow- thought they would have gone 6:2 and picked wee George over Ali but then I read that George is injured - fingers crossed nothing too serious!

Apparently wee George has had a head bang in training and is following return to play protocol. I don’t think he has a history of head injuries so will hopefully be fit in 2 weeks 🤞🏼

It was terrible in Stade de France. The French have such a rousing anthem but you could barely hear it.
hopefully a few musicians will be sourced soon!

At least they got a wiggle in with the English anthem in marseillle! It’s an awful dirge if it’s sing slowly but ok if a bit faster ! Poor Tom

Well this is all odd. George ford notching up the drop goals. I like it though but the second half is the real challenge. Are we fit enough to hold them off. Hoping for an early try from England.

Wondering whether drop goals were a tactic, or whether Ford has decided they aren't going to win by playing rugby, so he might as well take things into his own hands.

george Ford is such an underrated player. He was the one who saved England from defeat when Scotland came back from 31-0 to 31-38 when he scored equalising try. I am supporting Argentina (have experienced too much unsporting behaviour from England rugby fans in my 30 years living here) but England are playing well and George Ford is their saviour.
