That was brilliant and unexpected because I am always pessimistic when Wales play the Southern hemisphere.
I'm terrible at watching even when it was too far ahead for Australia to catch us.
So happy for the Wales squad.

This is when I definitely embrace my quarter Welshness .

Does anyone listen to the Scrum V podcast. The most recent one has Australian commentator Sean Maloney on it, and he's quite despairing about EJ's decisions regarding the Aus team.

@KnickerlessParsons . I haven't but I think the fact he's being booed everytime he's on the screen tells you all you need to know. My husband hates the way he's always bigging up his team. Notice everyone else stays neutral so as not to give the opposition any more motivation in the game.

You and I know EJ is not popular in Ireland.

England and Wales have a great chance of making the semis without breaking sweat.

Ireland, France, NZ , and South Africa all knocking seven bells out of each other. If Ireland don't qualify I will support Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿. They'll deserve it if they escape the Group of Death!

Oz and NZ need to bring Fiji into their championship. Too many players swapping teams as well.

Hi, another ireland fan here. Unfortunately I’m on a very large dose of PPI’s and have been warned to avoid stress so couldn’t watch the Ireland SA game
live. I even sent DH out and watched elemental with the kids 🤣

The draw is very lopsided all right. Lucky England and Wales.

I just read in the news now that it is very likely that DuPont will return to play in the quarter finals. Perhaps with wearing some facial protective mask.

That game is on 15th October, so just over 2 weeks time! France vs SA.

Who else thinks this is ridiculous? Surely he should just heal properly, this is such a huge risk.

We saw how physical the Ireland/SA game was, surely this next game will not be too different.

They would be crazy to risk DuPont and he would be crazy to risk his own career, my dh says any further damage in that area and his eye could potentially pop out on the pitch.

Dopont's injury may not be as serious as it's being reported, may be a case of smoking mirrors, even if it is as serious as reported saying he could be back in time for the quarter-final may also be a tactic.

I am hoping against hope that Italy can pull off an unlikely win against the All Blacks on Friday. I think Italian DH would be smiling until the next World Cup if they do!
