I'd have thought three matches was more appropriate. It was deliberate and premeditated behaviour. But better than a one-match suspension.

I'm surprised it wasn't 3 - tbh I didn't realise 2 was an option. I feel like Fifa wimped out a bit on the 3 - be interesting to understand the criteria.

Being a teensy bit cynical, I think they decided on two matches so that she would be available for the final should England make it, perhaps after "representations" from the England camp? And also LJ has been one of the emerging stars of the tournament, so there are marketing opportunities for Fifa as well. But as I said, bit cynical, me!
