At the moment it's pre-season testing and they are in Bahrain as that is where the first race happens

Is anyone watching the preseason testing at the moment?

Anyone follow the WTF1 personnel change over the past few weeks (social media channel) and that Tommy & Matt have set up P1 with just Matt & Tommy as co-owners?

I'm really looking forward to seeing what progress the other teams have been able to make since RBR had their wind tunnel time reduced due to their overspend in 2022 (that was their punishment for doing that).

Is it awful that I wish it was Verstappen whose car went off rather than Checo? (Obviously not wishing injury on anyone…)

Jesus I am just so sick of Leclerc - every time he is on pole, it's an absolute gift to Verstappen, and now he will hold up everyone else including Sainz who is arguably faster

Why are they trying to fix Sergio's car to get back out - he will be laps behind 🙁 I really feel for him - it's his home race too

I actually think that Max was responsible for that accident. It reminded me very much of the start of this race - where the car in the middle basically became the meat in a Ferrari sandwich, except that in yesterday's race, the car that was the meat in the sandwich was a Ferrari.

It is interesting that in both races, at the start, Verstappen was involved. I'm not a big believer in coincidences.

Albert Fabrega, F1 journalist tweeted something yesterday about a surprising rumour. The rumour about the um.. rumour, is that Alonso is leaving AM at the end of the year (no surprise there), but is signing for Red Bull to replace Perez!

It will be one drama after another.

It's probably a complete lot of nonsense but I would love to watch it, and Netflix will be planning a double episode run of Drive to Survive to encapsulate all the drama. 😂

@Sulusu Alonso and Verstappen as teammates - bloody hell, can you even imagine how much fur would fly in the Red Bull garages! 🤣 Mind you, I would dearly love to be a fly on the wall if Alonso and Verstappen Sr were to ever go toe to toe - Fernando’s tongue would tear strips off that vile bully of a man.

It would be fun to watch how many times they could start on the front row, go into the first corner together and Lewis come out first whilst they are both spinning in the gravel.

So Mercedes' Chief Technical Officer Mike Elliott has stepped down from his role in the team. He's been with the team for the past 11 years. He's now on gardening leave.

Is this the start of their resurgence? Who will take up this role in Mercedes?

It is interesting he has gone on gardening leave it suggests he may be going to a competitor.

I actually think Mercedes have made steps forward but fundamentally need to wait until the 2024 car to potentially catch up with RB.

I'm looking forward to this weekend. Brazil is a good track that has overtaking opportunities, much better than Mexico. I'm hoping for a non Red Bull win again just to make it more interesting.

Could do without it being another sprint weekend though.

2021 sprint was mega, one of Lewis’ best weekends despite the penalty.

I fucking hate Sprints, just putting it out there. I actually said I would avoid going to a race that was a Sprint!

I like the idea several drivers have proposed they start the sprint in reverse championship order. Carlos and Lewis have both said this.

They also said 6 in a season. Max hates them but gave a very funny response today.

Apparently Alonso is not happy about the RB rumours.

"I will make sure there are consequences" is cracking me up. I guess driving for Red Bull is the worst?
