Since the last one was about last season, here's a shiny new one! I haven't even seen quali yet, I've been so busy today Who's getting up in the middle of the night?

Great shot on BBC of Rosberg's face. Intense concentration, as you'd expect. Loved seeing the effect of the g-forces too.

Martin brundle-'It's like November 5th'. Poor guy's car is on fire.

All happening now, though I suppose something had to give as it was getting boring.

Haven't seen a car on fire like that for a while. Must be so unnerving.

Nicolas Hamilton looks so much like his brother.

DH has started flicking between the race and an LFC match.

Definitely unreasonable behaviour.

Mostly a boring race.

But I'm a little bit emotional. So sad for Nico to finish like that. He drove so well with that injured car. Got a little tear when he said he wanted to continue.

So bloody happy that Lewis got this championship. And won the race. Was exciting when he passed Nico at the start.

And great result for Williams too.

Yes, was a bit mixed in the end wasn't it? A Brit won though. Yay!

Poor Nico :( I really wanted him to win. He and Lewis have both driven really well this year.

Fantastic result for Williams too, I hope their success continues next season.

I've just caught up. A great result I thought and brilliant to see Lewis take another championship .

I do feel for Nico though, he's competed well all season and an awful way to end it.

I never thought I'd want Lewis to win - but I did.

I really don't like Rosberg, especially after Spa, and he always comes over as an arrogant twat.

I would really like to have seen Bottas win the race & the WDC.

Forza Williams for nest season.

And I hope this thread won't die over the winter - lots to chat about.

Most of all I hope to see Jensen back next year.

next season - there are no nests in F1!!

I've said it before but I definitely think that Bottas is one to watch, may well be a future champion. Ricciardo also.

I would love to see a championship battle between Bottas and . Been very impressed by both of them this season.

2015 calendar- only 110 days to go!

110 days seems like for ever! I always feel a bit down at the end of the last GP of the season - it really is winter now. (I am not a lover of winter).

So wish they had GP all winter & the 'off' season was in the summer!

Oh yes magimedi that would be great. Sunday's are so dull without a GP

I can't believe we have to wait until March for the next GP! It's cruel .

In the meantime, it looks like Caterham being on the grid again in Melbourne is looking a bit more likely:

So it looks like double points have been scrapped for next year. The right decision I would say!

Finally! I thought they were waiting for him to reach retirement age before they decided. I hope they keep him too. I think they will, he's a way safer bet than Magnusson.
