That was pretty brutal wasn't it? I agree, Pan, it somehow wasn't the right coda to a fabulous cycling season. Heigh ho - we'll have to dig out the turbo-trainers and wait it out til the SPring classics.

How - I am such an innocent.

We have 5 months of wet gear and cold ahead, whilst our heroes have camps in warmer climes. But to wildly misquote Shelly, 'If autumn is here, can spring, and the classics, be far behind?'

The Giro is coming to Ireland next year!! A stage in Northern Ireland, and then one in Dublin. I'm hoping I can get to Yorkshire for the Tour, but I'll definitely be able to get to Dublin. Can't wait
