Put hot water (as hot as you can bear) on a flannel and press it onto the spot. It might pop itself. Or, instead of squeezing the spot, pull the skin either side away from the spot and it should pop.

SoupDragon · 04/02/2021 09:43

Sterilise a fine sewing needle and gently pop the spot?

50shadesoflunacy · 04/02/2021 09:43

I second a v hot flannel -- don't burn yourself OP!

50shadesoflunacy · 04/02/2021 09:44

Press firmly with the flannel for a few minutes too.

QuimReaper · 04/02/2021 09:46

Oh lord poor you! What a terrible place for it, bet that hurts!

I'd have a hot bath if you can.

Ifailed · 04/02/2021 09:50

just squeeze it.

BottegaBish · 04/02/2021 09:50

1.2.3. POP.

SpottyNeck · 04/02/2021 10:01

I can't actually explain how painful it is, even just to touch gently. I've tried frozen, I've tried heat. I've tried tweezers. I've tried using my fingers. Dont have a pin or needle annoyingly.

Squeeze it, it's ready to pop. A few seconds off pain for a wonderful feeling.

If not I'll come round and squeeze it for you

SpottyNeck · 04/02/2021 10:04

Please come and do it for me, I'm a wuss Grin

If you can't squeeze it, slather it in sudocrem. That might dry it up.

emmathedilemma · 04/02/2021 10:59

Might drawing ointment from the chemist help?
Whilst it will be quite satisfying to squeeze it will probably bleed a lot and could get infected if you're not careful.

Cabinfeveragain · 04/02/2021 11:06

Oh god, I'd so squeeze that as soon as I spotted it! Pardon the pun !

SpottyNeck · 04/02/2021 13:28

It's be a total nightmare. I've had it for over a year, ultrasounds on it too. That was before it got a head on it! Before that it was just a scary looking lump under the skin that got me put on a two week pathway for scans, etc. To rule out cancer. Was diagnosed as a cyst, one of those ones that has supposedly been there since conception, slow growing and full of skin and hair cells. But the last couple of months it keeps getting a head on it. It bursts and then refills! Never had a head on it quite like this one though.

You must be able to find something sharp - safety pin, badge....? Sterilise under naked flame (obv wait for it to cool down) or boiling water.

Mysa74 · 04/02/2021 13:35

You should get this moved to sporners corner, they'll know exactly what it is and have loads of ideas of how to fix it so it never comes back... (And will only ask for a video or action shots in return 😂)

YanTanTethera123 · 04/02/2021 13:37

Try magnesium sulphate paste to draw it out?

SpottyNeck · 04/02/2021 13:37

FlatteredRhubardFool · 04/02/2021 13:54

Can someone film it popping @SpottyNeck ? Please?

ginghamtablecloths · 04/02/2021 13:55

By 'eck that is horrible OP. Could you alternately apply hot and cold flannels on it?

OhDearShirley · 04/02/2021 13:56

Most supermarkets sell tiny boxes of pins. Just saying op!!
