Had gigantor for a week and a day now, could barely walk, today it's finally burst and has gone down to about half its size but won't stop leaking, what can I do to get rid of the gunk faster? I've been wearing two dressings on top of each other with iodine inside and it's still seeping through all the dressings on to my knickers about 15 mins after I change the dressing

Super hot clothing on it for two minutes then squeeze the rest of the gunk out.

I didn't know this board existed until I just saw another lady's cyst thread! They didn't give me any dressings, went to drs on Thursday and they gave me antibiotics, said if it didn't burst in a few days or got worst I'd have to go to the hospital to get it drained. So I bought some iodine patches and dressings from Tesco. Tried everything to get it to burst, hot compress, scorching hot baths, Epsom salt bath, Epsom salts and kettle water directly on it, but nothing. Did a bread poultice last night for the first time ever (never heard of it before) and after about 20 mins it started bleeding a bit so got in the bath and poked and prodded it but nothing happened still, so put dressing on it and went to bed and the second pic is how it looked this morning, have had two boiling baths today and squeezed a lot but only a bit of blood came out and it's really sore and tender seeping lots through the dressings though

If it seeping and really tender then the epic eruption hasn't happened yet and there's plenty of life left in it (rubs hands at the thought lol)

It's soft and tender on top and has gone black in the tender parts, but there's a solid hard lump underneath, is that where all the goodness is hiding?

I am reading this with baited breath! That is impressive! All the above advice is good, basically hot wet things, have another crack at the poultice. Looks sore. Be careful putting kettles on it tho you will damage the skin, don't make it any worse.

I shave, but haven't had one of these in about 5 or 6 years, I used to be really overweight and had them regularly, this is the first time I've had one in years since I lost weight but never had one this big before!

Oh the core is still to come out....that is when it gets really good. Keep trying to draw all the crap out of it.
