i haven’t been to any yet, but Legoland sounds great

As a child I adored the haunted house at Alton towers - I still often listen to the soundtrack on YouTube! And we once stayed in the Cadbury’s room in the resort hotel which felt magical as a child with the chocolate everywhere! Such happy memories and now my 3 year old adores CBeebies land, especially the hey duggee play park.

My kids LOVE the Wicker Man at Alton towers. It was their very first proper roller coaster. The there’s a year in age between them and there was a year between both of their first experiences. They both cried the first time but were exhilarated and hooked! We visit once a year and it’s all they talk about when you mention Alton Towers!

I’ve taken my now 3 year old boy to LEGOLAND for his birthday every year and those days have become some of my most precious memories of him. So much to see, even when tiny, and plenty of rides he can go on - especially as he gets bigger.

I'm not a big rollercoaster fan but visiting Thorpe Park on fright night and riding Swarm in the dark - wow, there's nothing like it!

Getting food poisoning from Legoland Windsor was pretty memorable.

also the time it took us nearly two hours to get out of the car park

so happy my kids have outgrown it

what do I win?

Chessington with all the cousins! Running around having a chaotic but amazingly fun day

My daughter still talks about touching the starfish in the aquarium at Alton Towers. She’s Autistic and needed the break, but was undiagnosed at the time and the little aquarium was a lovely bit of quiet downtime without feeling as though she was missing out.

Our first stay over at splash landings at alton towers, wonderful themed rooms and watermark.

MeOldBamboo · 14/12/2025 16:24

Pirate show at Legoland about 10 years ago. We knew it so well especially the “you make me mad!” high pitched yell from the baddies. Stunts and boos and hisses. Brilliant.

We had the best time at CBeebieLand at Alton Towers. The kids loved meeting the teletubbies and we all enjoyed the In the Night Garden ride.

My children love Legoland. The splash park in the Duplo bit,.the Ninjago rides when they had their Ninjago obsession, the driving school.... And also all the Lego models

Our first ever (so far only, but hopefully not for too long) trip to Legoland in Windsor. Traveling with our at the time 5 year old and not quite 1 year old. Brilliant day, it was a sunny random Monday in June. We arrived at opening time and clocked up 14 rides and the pirate show throughout the day. There was so much to do and see. Especially for our little boy, who loves Lego and turned out to be a bit of an adrenaline junkie. There were also gentle, family rides for his baby brother to join in - and shows and models to enjoy. One of those proper making memory moments. And having never been as a child, I had a fabulous time as nearly 40-year-old. Especially on the castle roller coaster and the water rides!

Ocelotfeet27 · 15/12/2025 22:02

My little ones love an aquarium - SEA LIFE near Waterloo their fave. Especially the sea horses! Which my son still asks every time - what are they?!

Mama3Awlad · 16/12/2025 05:09

My kids absolutely will love to go to all, especially Legoland or Chessington. The passes will also come in handy for museum visits as this is something we all enjoy.
Edit to add we haven't been to any yet, but all are on our bucket list.
