I have a friend who has known me and my boys through thick and thin...and amazingly somehow always seems to appear or phone me 'out of the blue'...just when i need her to.

In return I don't phone HER....don't APPEAR for her....but she is always there for me.

I have recommended she join us as she is very interested in Special Needs ...she is a TA at the secondary school that my son goes to.

If she joins us...i can promise you she is a crazy as the rest of us...she will be laminating with us in no time!!!!

I have a friend a little like that - she seems to phone me to pop over for a visit on days when I feel like I am doing it hard - dd1 being a monkey and dd2 just unsettled.

When is she going to sign up for MN? And will you be helping her to choose a name, MrsF?

TheRealMrsF · 10/06/2005 23:00

I'm feeling paranoid now...i emailed her a link to this (her very own thread)...and she's not replied ......oooooh! What have i done!!!

(ofcourse she may just be busy!!!!!)

OP posts:
coppertop · 10/06/2005 23:02

Paranoid? You?????!

TheRealMrsF · 10/06/2005 23:12

Got to go now CT.... our p.c is infested with some bloody pest (not YOU i may add..though according to your ds1....YOU are a pest...!!!)....as when i am typing this there is nothing on the screen...then when i stop typing i sit here for a minute then suddenly all the typing appears!
We download a great trial spyware thingummy but it only lasts 15 days...but we 'buck the system' by restoring our PC back to factory settings with the manufacturer disc..then i simply spend 10 minutes downloading the trial again...and hey presto we have 15 trouble free days!!!

Doing the restore is a bit drastic...but serves another purpose...clears out all the 'junk' that tom downloads from the various playstation/music sites he visits!!! (pssssss! Don't tell him i called it JUNK!!!!)
So i will remember this time too write down your email address...last time i lost it!!!!

Helloooooo Battybox!

I really love the name. A huge welcome to mumsnet and an extra big THANKYOU for looking after MrsF for us.

battybox · 13/06/2005 21:15

coppertop,
you have been doing a great job of looking after MrsF yourself.

GUARDIAN ANGEL!!!!!!

NOT ME i am just some nutcase she bumped into at school one day.

coppertop · 13/06/2005 21:19

And I'm just a nutcase she bumped into on the internet one day.

battybox · 13/06/2005 21:19

i don't know which is more risky!!!!!!!!!!!

coppertop · 13/06/2005 21:21

What she doesn't know is that my real name is Boris and that I have a waist-length beard. Sometimes it gets caught in the steering-wheel when I'm trying to drive my truck.

battybox · 13/06/2005 21:23

i'm fred and into beards

That's getting tacky and MRSF will ban me forever

coppertop · 13/06/2005 21:24

Nah. MrsF will just be wondering whether beards can be laminated or not.

battybox · 13/06/2005 21:28

I forgot the kids!!!!!!
i was supposed to say goodnight

their Grandma is coming next week

i will be up comforting their nightmares.

Mrsf knows all about their Grandma

battybox · 13/06/2005 21:28
