Okay here we go!

ONE

  • She came into us this morning (6am not so so good but...) she climbed onto the bed, kissed me and lay down next to me softly stoking my face and saying 'ahhhhhh' and then as i lay there smiling I heard her count to 10! Honestly, to 10. HELOOOOOO!!!!! WOW! I made her do it again and she did. Then I asked her to give me 1 kiss which she did, then I asked her to give me 3 kisses which she did. Gobsmacked, flabbergasted, proud as hell.

TWO

  • Every morning when D kisses her bye, before he gets a chance, as soon as she's had her kiss she points to me and says 'daddy - mummy kiss'! and as he kisses me she does her little happy hands and is all excied and pleased. Bless her.

I saw the speech and language therapist briefly when she visited Lottie at nursery this morning. I ran through a few things to update her and she said 'wow, she's my star pupil'. You can all imagine how overjoyed I was to hear that.

So, that's that really, just needed to gush, job done

Makes heaps of sense, LGJ - one of the first posts I read on MN was Thomcat talking of Lottie - I have a very soft spot for her. Strange, and lovely, this internet thing...

I know just what you mean - I always feel quite propietorial (ooooh - get me!!) over Lottie, very proud of all her acheivements. I think it's partly due to the fantastic magazine article which featured the family and had me in tears at my desk. She was so gorgeous in her little boots! Bless her! You really are very lucky to have her Thomcat, I love reading about her

Gobbledigook · 10/05/2005 21:52

Awww, TC - that's fab!! She's gorgeous your wee girl

Hulababy · 10/05/2005 21:53

Such a lovely post to read Thomcat Well done to Lottie!

Thomcat · 10/05/2005 21:53

Oh wow, how lovely of you all, gosh, don't know what to say, thanks girls, that's so nice
She's a right little madam sometimes, as well you know, she's not lovely all the time , she has been today though. She put her cost on all by herself and oh.... please don't see this as anything other than you encouraging me and me not being able to help myself, but I have to tell you this.

We were in the front garden tonight and she crawled all the way across the lawn, across the neighbours, bearing in mind this is the furthest she has ever crawled, and she crawled up to next doors front door, then sat cross legged and knocked and siad 'knock, knock, looked up, obviously noone came as a mouse would have knocked harder and louder, so when noone came she put both hands on door, head down between arms and pushed making big drama queen pants of exertion!

She cracks me up, I saw her in a recent interview, she is gorge. Must add, I had a free read in WHS on a tip off from here.

P.S

She brought the parents with her to the interview and photo session, how thoughtful of her.

Gobbledigook · 10/05/2005 22:00

LGJ - Lottie? Is she in a mag? Sorry if I've got confused but if she is I wanna see!

Janh · 10/05/2005 22:02

There was a piece in Eve (written by aloha) about a year ago, GDG.

Think there's been another since? Oh, and something in the Mail with TC's mum.

Thomcat · 10/05/2005 22:02

Yeah LGJ, what mag, the one Willow did for Junior Pregnancy & Birth?

OP posts:
Thomcat · 10/05/2005 22:04

OP posts:

NINE???? Where were they all?

LGJ · 10/05/2005 22:05

Well........... you know how it is, once you have kids, it could have been a month ago, it may have been before Christmas, but it was a lovely black and white/sepia of TC,Mr TC and our star Lottie.

I think it was in something like Mums and pregnancy....................TC will hopefully fill in the gaps.
