ASD - How old were you DC when they got a diagnosis?

And how long did it take?

DS was 10, more than 4 years after concerns were first raised.

DD3 was 7.4, took about 18 months

DS2 was 2.5

been in the system a year ds nearly 3.6, paed told us to read aspergers books, but has not given a dx yet!

2 years and 1 day!

We knew he was different and self referred at 7 mos. 1st appt at 14 mos. The paed told us verbally at 16 mos but wouldn't commit it in writing til he was over 2.
