We're back!

And what a time we had!

Finally got to meet J's Mum....she IS SOOOOOOOOO Be-ay-U-tee-full!!!!! And whats more she is a lovely person too! (hair to die 4 !!!!!!)
Her boys have the most amazing 'smiley' eyes.....and her hubby was lovely too.....

However..... within an hour of meeting HE was badly injured (though wouldn't admit he was in pain) by sitting on a a faulty chair.... today he's got his arm in a sling- they are off tio hospital when they get home. This looked like something off a comedy sketch on tv- i will leave j'sM to take this story up for me.

I am so down about the rest of our meetup as we'd planned to spend the morning together and finish off by swimming tghis afternoon- then we were going to leave butlins about 5..... however turned out they had a massive Christian Festival that was taking over the place- so EVERYTHING was shut by 12.....and this you can imagine left us with some very dissappointed lads......feel that after her hubby got hurt that this was the icing on the cake - as they travelled up specially to meet us..... and then they bl**dy go and shut down Butlins.

I'm too cheesed off now- so will just leave saying again to J'sM how glad i am we had chance to meet even if only for a short while- and that last night was a brilliant night- wish desparately that the bl**dy chair had not broken.....are we JINXED???? !!!!!!

we're 'full' of appointments next week-tues (my psychologist) weds - Leigh's paed follow-up to the 'connors' questionairre...and then friday is the appointment with a psychologist for Leigh and Tom....which i will 'hijack' with Alex. I was supposed to have sent her a letter describing himetc- must do that so she gets it before friday!!! Don't relly want to be describing him when he is sat there.... he is likely to then appear to behave the way i am describing- so she may say he's just doing it for 'attention'...much rather i pre-warn her so she see's it 'naturally'!!!

Awww, I missed out on your little swaray (sp???) last night, but when I saw the title of this thread, I knew MrsF was back in town! So Butlins just shut up shop did they? Mmmm, not good - I'm sure i'd have had something to say (no shock there!)

Blimey, JaysMums dh is obviously a bit of a hero, not complaining like that, bless him!

Coppertop - I am afraid that I am going to challenge you for the Clutter crown - I am a serious contender! ....although I don't have a laminator but have access to one at work, does that count?

So glad you all had a good time and I agree, it would be lovely to all meet up - when, where?

Jaysmum · 26/03/2005 09:21

SOON!!!! We NEED to get together......

Blossomhill · 26/03/2005 09:24

I've already had the pleasure of meeting you chocol8 {smile}

Tiggiwinkle · 26/03/2005 09:25

I missed it too-early night on account of DS5s sudden liking for getting up at the crack of dawn-6.45am both yesterday and again this morning!
But Im afraid I too am a contender for the clutter queen title-with 5 untidy boys and a hoarding DH I have got to be in the running somewhere!
Jaysmum-had to laugh about the clothes on the bed-just like me, except the clothes are neatly folded but not ironed-I dont "do" ironing and could never afford to pay for the amount we create to be done by someone else!

coppertop · 26/03/2005 18:24

We could always re-name this meet-up "The Clutter Convention"?

Okay, I'll let you off if you are laminator-less. Do any of us live anywhere near the others? I'm in Cambs.

Jaysmum · 26/03/2005 21:47

N.Devon me!!!!!!!

MrsFROSTgetful · 27/03/2005 00:07

Aww, MrsF - you say the loveliest things!

I'm in Bedfordshire - so not a million miles away from you Coppertop.

Tiggiwinkle · 27/03/2005 00:12

I am in south-east London-so miles away

Jaysmum · 27/03/2005 10:21

We need to find a spot that is a mid way point for us all.....somewhere that is easy for us all to get to....especially if some need to use the train....how about Bristol.....is that pretty central for everyone????
What about a day at the Zoo?????
Kids will have lots to do and we can all natter to our hearts content.

MrsFROSTgetful · 27/03/2005 17:07

I RECKON WE'LL END UP STICKING A PIN IN THE MAP!!!!

MrsFROSTgetful · 27/03/2005 17:23

OP posts:
coppertop · 27/03/2005 17:53
