We're back!

And what a time we had!

Finally got to meet J's Mum....she IS SOOOOOOOOO Be-ay-U-tee-full!!!!! And whats more she is a lovely person too! (hair to die 4 !!!!!!)
Her boys have the most amazing 'smiley' eyes.....and her hubby was lovely too.....

However..... within an hour of meeting HE was badly injured (though wouldn't admit he was in pain) by sitting on a a faulty chair.... today he's got his arm in a sling- they are off tio hospital when they get home. This looked like something off a comedy sketch on tv- i will leave j'sM to take this story up for me.

I am so down about the rest of our meetup as we'd planned to spend the morning together and finish off by swimming tghis afternoon- then we were going to leave butlins about 5..... however turned out they had a massive Christian Festival that was taking over the place- so EVERYTHING was shut by 12.....and this you can imagine left us with some very dissappointed lads......feel that after her hubby got hurt that this was the icing on the cake - as they travelled up specially to meet us..... and then they bl**dy go and shut down Butlins.

I'm too cheesed off now- so will just leave saying again to J'sM how glad i am we had chance to meet even if only for a short while- and that last night was a brilliant night- wish desparately that the bl**dy chair had not broken.....are we JINXED???? !!!!!!

Welcome back MrsF-it has been very quiet without you!
So sorry to hear about the disastrous end to your break, especially Jaysmums poor DH-hope the injury is not too serious.
Did you have a good time otherwise?

macwoozy · 25/03/2005 18:14

Nice to see you back MrsF. Sorry your break didn't go as planned.

Blossomhill · 25/03/2005 18:23

Oh no, nightmare [shocked]

Hope dh is feeling better Jaysmum xxxx

Glad you got on so well

coppertop · 25/03/2005 18:44

Welcome back MrsF! I hope Jaysdad is okay.

Jaysmum · 25/03/2005 19:48

Finally home!!!!!
What a bizzarre 24 hours we have had....finally got to meet Mr & Mrs F and family. How wonderful it is to be with another family and not worry that your childs behaviour will make them run a mile.
Just a massive shame the boys didnt get to go swimming and that we didnt manage to do all we wanted....but we still had fun.
The 4 hours in casualty have been a nightmare but hubby is managing to get a tad more comfortable now.
He has to go back on Tuesday and see a specialist because they may need to wire his elbow back together!!!!!!He has got quite a nasty break....he didnt want to spoil our fun by complaining.....quite how he managed to play a round of crazy golf this morning is beyond me.

Looking forward to the next time Mrs F....the guys are already planning where and when we can go......

coppertop · 25/03/2005 19:50

Best of luck to Jaysdad. He sounds very brave carrying on with crazy golf etc. Fingers crossed for Tuesday, xx

I'm dying to know how Jay and the mini-Forgetfuls got on.

Jaysmum · 25/03/2005 20:21

They got on so well....as if they had known each other for ever....but I felt like that with Mrs F!!!

DS1(NT) asked me last night when I was tucking him up in bed which one of Mrs F boys had AS....I said all of them.....his response....well they are all pretty regular guys to me.....Bless.

coppertop · 25/03/2005 20:36

Awwwww! I want to meet the Forgetfuls toooooooo! I'm so glad you all got on so well. I'm just sorry I missed it.

Jaysmum · 25/03/2005 20:41

So am I......next time we are thinking of meeting up in Street...Somerset way....wanna come then??? PLEASE!!!!!

coppertop · 25/03/2005 20:50

I'd love to. I just need to make sure that dh can get time off on that particular day in case ds1 needs to be at school etc. So far something always seems to come up at the last minute (ooer!). Any idea of when it would be roughly?

Blossomhill · 25/03/2005 20:57

Count me in!!!!!!!!

coppertop · 25/03/2005 21:00

Yay! Am I right in thinking that we are all MrsF clones? I can't wait!

Blossomhill · 25/03/2005 21:02

Can you imagine, we wouldn't come up for air lol

coppertop · 25/03/2005 21:06

Everyone has to bring at least 3 laminated items (anything you like ) and at least one picture of out-of-control clutter.

Jaysmum · 25/03/2005 21:56

Clutter....whats that then??????

Is it the piles of clean ironed clothes that sit on my bed, only to be removed at night and chucked on the floor......to then be re folded and placed on the bed the next morning!!!!!!!

coppertop · 25/03/2005 21:59

You manage to get ironing done?? In that case I claim the crown of Clutter Queen.

Jaysmum · 25/03/2005 22:13

I DONT IRON....I pay someone to do it!!!!!!

coppertop · 25/03/2005 22:15

Phew!

Blossomhill · 25/03/2005 22:22

I don't have a laminator though

Jaysmum · 25/03/2005 22:22

There is nothing worse for wasting time than ironing....I HATE IT....for £10 a week I get all my ironing done....and with J that means there is loads!!!!

Jaysmum · 25/03/2005 22:23

Thats OK Bloss....Mrs F has two!!!! You can borrow one of hers!!!!

Blossomhill · 25/03/2005 22:24

Us lot have to get together. It would be a tragedy if we didn't

Is that ok MrsF. Failing that my mum has one lol

coppertop · 25/03/2005 22:24

I'll let you off then, BH.

Blossomhill · 25/03/2005 22:26

I don't do laminators. Maybe I should start???

Jaysmum · 25/03/2005 22:28

laminators are ace.....that should get Mrs F out of hiding.....where is she tonight?????? I want to play!!!
