I am certain that DD1 has ADHD and DS has a mild form of it, I am at the end of thether with DD1 and can't take much more of her behaviour, she is so lively and loud! She screams and shouts. She fights like a boy and hurts the other badly. Of course when she starts DS starts. Who can help me with this? Is it worth going to the GP?

Hope you are feeling a bit better today Sparkly mieow. I agree with Coppertop that it sounds as though a multi disciplinary would be a good idea.

ive only just read all this so excuse me if i have picked up on the wrong thing....
there is no mild form of ADHD you have it or you dont!.
but there are other things that can be attatched to it...such as CONDUCT DISORDER, TORETTES SYNDROME, DEFIENT DISORDER, DYSLEXIA, ETC..THESE CAN FOLLOW ON...BUT ARE NOT ADHD.
I GOT MY SON DIAGNOSED BY GOING TO MY GP AND THEN REFERRED TO THE CHILD PSYCHI' UNIT. NOT THROUGH THE SCOOL.

HOPE THIS HELPS

Quick update, me and DH are going on holiday in 4 weeks, for a weekend away, with my best friend and cousin. Skegness, look out!!! . My mum is having the girls and MIL is having DS (tho. that was a fight to get her to do it)
SS have been out to do DD1's updated assessment and she is 7th from the top of the list for respite
And I feel much better
