...before i blow up like a balloon and burst in a disappointing pop of stupidity and hopelessness.
I am never going to persuade anyone and it wouldn't make any difference if I did.

I now what happened to my fella. Why do I keep responding to people I don't know who seem to think I am attention seeking fantasist.
it isn't even that I care and get upset. It is just annoying.

Brioche - yes, that's exactly what happened to DS! A near plateau between 2 and 3 - apart from doing jigsaws . Possibly a very very slight regression, as he was less keen to point to things in books etc at 3 than at 2. Even though I'm pretty confident he wasn't affected by first shot of MMR (at 15 months), I don't want to take the risk of pre-school booster, as I think he is extremely close to the spectrum, if not actually on it.

oh France is OK I think. I met someone once who didn't want her kids vaccinated but lived in France where they went to school. She said she gave them homeopathic vaccinations (many homeopaths themselves will say there's no such thing!) and she said that was accepted. She said it seemed to be more about a need to file some paperwork rather than a concern about a child's immunity!

Ya know Total, I think we should hook up your DS and my DD when they get older. I think they'd have a lot in common!! JJ you're probably right. So much about life in France is filing the right paperwork! There was TONS of it after DS was born.
