twocutedarlings · 19/05/2008 10:33

I think they're spooky too, and I agree that calling it SN because of a split in its hand is a bit off.

TBH I'm more alarmed at the possibility that there's some grown up numty out there who's willing to pay £100 for a pretend baby. Now THAT's spooky!

caitlinnjacksmummy · 19/05/2008 10:35

Defo email the seller!!!! Am behind u on that 1, it is ignorant and disgusting

twocutedarlings · 19/05/2008 10:36

Did anyone else notice the vomit-inducing bit at the bottom about how it will need "a special mummy"? One step away from that nauseating "it takes a special mummy to have a special baby" bullshit myth.

caitlinnjacksmummy · 19/05/2008 10:42

Holy fuck!!!!That is UNREAL!!!! How scary is that one , AND the price!!!!!!!!!!

caitlinnjacksmummy · 19/05/2008 10:43

anniebear · 19/05/2008 12:00

I e mailed and ask why has she called the doll a special needs baby because it is damaged and that she might cause offence to some people

anyone else e mailed?

anniebear · 19/05/2008 12:01

I must be one of the few who will admit to finding some of them lovely!!!

I could imagine, if she had enough money, my Mum having one in her lounge lol

misscutandstick · 19/05/2008 12:07

I deffinately am!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What gets me is... its already revised! what the hell did she write before??? Just how bad WAS it?

misscutandstick · 19/05/2008 12:14

Oh and another thing..

She writes: "you could always cover it up with a mitten and no-one would know..."

Well thats it then, we should keep our children who arent perfect enough for 'normal' (read - "ignorant") out of view, or if we have to take them out... at least have the the decency to put a big towel over their heads!!!

twocutedarlings · 19/05/2008 12:17

Ive not emailed her yet, tbh i wanted to see if ebay did anything about it . I reported it at about 5pm yesterday.

OP posts:
twocutedarlings · 19/05/2008 12:20

Misscute - yes the revised thing got my back up to, i hope the SNs thing wasnt an after thought.

The 'babies' are horrific ! Like voodoo dolls. We do sometimes joke about the dishwasher having SN because you can't put the tablet in the right way but I would never put anything like that in public context as it looks offensive. I don't know why it seems ok in private
