DLA renewals

Hi everyone, I sent my sons renewal off on the 4th Feb special delivery i can see they recieved it on the 5th. I rang the week after and asked if they recieved it she said she can confirm they recieved the renewal forms on the 5th of Feb.
Renewal runs out may, does anyone know how long this usually takes? It's my first renewal and I'm really anxious! I have sent in a fair amount of evidence.

I got told on phone today should have a decision before end date. I would phone back tomorrow as it can’t go in for 2-3 months after x

my renewal date is 11/6 and they told
me this morning it's with a decision maker

I got my award renewal date due 11/6

So I’ve just called for my daughter’s renewal. Basically it wasn’t done it could be today or upto 2 months, he said good news it’s was received in time so will be treated as a renewal but it’s not been been done So frustrating

I'm worried that my renewal isn't doing to be processed in time 😔 it runs out on the 26th of June but I didn't get it sent off untill the 22nd of may! Anybody in the same boat?

Have any of you heard back yet? I’m still waiting x

I called and was told the same, that it was received in time so would be treated as renewal still but could take upto 2 months and still not been assigned to anybody!
So stressful!

Hopefully we hear something back soon. With yours being a week after my sons I will let you know when his is done x

3 days until renewal and heard nothing yet! Got his payment tomorrow so will see if that shows any change x

@Crumbold90 try calling again, I'm going to call next Tuesday if I've not heard anything!
Hope you hear something soon, I know people have got a decision the day before or even on the day it runs out x

@Mummyvic123 just phoned a decision was made on the 13th. Been awarded hrc for another 2 years and added lrm on. So was done 6 days before. I would say yours will be done any day now. Good luck x

@Mummyvic123 thankyou. The anxiety is awful on the lead up but he got what he deserves again. I hope your daughters is a good outcome too! Let me know how you get on. Hopefully be done by end of this week/beginning of next. The man wouldn’t tell me the decision so I asked to be put through to someone who could so I thought was declined x

@Crumbold90 yes it's such a stressful time ontop of everything else, had a nightmare week with school refusal this week!
I've just called, they said a decision has been made and I would get a letter in the next 10 days 😔 I asked to be put through to somebody that could tell me the decision but she said they were unable to tell outcomes over the phone...I'm stressing even more now x

@Mummyvic123 thats so annoying they said the same to me but I asked to be put through to someone who could tell me and they did. Our letter came a week to the day of decision made. Also got another payment as they added mobility on so maybe keep an eye on bank too. Good luck x

DLA due to run out on 28th June. Phoned today a decision was made yesterday 22nd but can't tell me over the phone what the decision is. I am in full breakdown mode.

@Crumbold90 I asked but obviously had someone that was having a bad day lol..
I'm more confused than ever now as I've got my daughters mrc payment showing for tomorrow but also an extra payment showing which is larger than her usual monthly amount!

Sam1995x I rang on Friday and had the same! Keep checking your bank x

@Mummyvic123 i would suspect have been re awarded. My son got his payment then an additional one day after. Maybe moved up rates or added mobility on x

It's so annoying in the end I rang again but pressed a different option and a lovely gent told me straight away the new rates x

@Crumbold90 have received letter, my daughter has been awarded, old entitlement was mrc and has now been awarded hrc and lrm for 6 years! I'm so happy I could cry, was up all night with her last night again and refusal of school today so a positive vibe was definatly needed today... I really struggled with my first claim and don't think I made clear enough her needs.

Hi, please could someone tell me, do I get sent renewal forms, or do I have to call and ask for them? My daughters ends in December, when would I expect to do the renewal? Thank you x
