My baby is 3 tomorrow. Feel so happy and quite emotional in a lovley way.

3 years old!

What a great 3 years. In some ways I can't believe she hasn't been in my life forever. What did I do without her around, what was life like pre-Lottie? She's such a huge and wonderful, important part of my life, can't believe she's only been in it 3 years. On the other hand how can my little baby be 3?!

My life, with her in it, is so much better than I could ever imagined. It just gets better and better, in some ways I want to push the fast forward button so I can get to the bit where she's reading stories to me and running after me and on the other hand I want it to stay like it is, right now, for ever.

Happy Birthday Lottie. Thank you for being more than I deserve and lighting up my life in a way I could never have dreamed possible. You make me so incredibly proud and so incredibly happy.
I love you so very, very much, Mummy xxx

ThomCatsAreNotJustForXmas · 16/12/2004 16:58

Oh my goodness, you really are all such lovely women and say really nice things. Thanks for indulging me and for your lovely birthday wishes to the Lotmiester and for all being so kind. I'm a soppy old fool and if I was happy and emotional before you've all sent me over the edge now!

Mumsnet is a great place to come when you're sad and a really nice place to come when you're happy I didn't think it was possible to feel any better than I already do today but then I read all your posts - in fact that could be a picture of me!

Can't wait for tomorrow and for this weekend.

What a special, special day for you and gorgeous Lottie!

Eulalia · 16/12/2004 17:31

Happy Birthday wishes to Lottie What have you planned?

GRMUM · 16/12/2004 17:42

You do write the most moving posts thomcat. I know exactly what you mean about wanting to fast forward/stay still. Sometimes I'd like a rewind button too 'cos they grow up so fast....just to hold them as babies again. Hope the 3 of you have a wonderful day tomorrow - its my wedding anniversary so i shall always remember Lotties birthday now !

Happy Birthday Lottie!!

ThomCatsAreNotJustForXmas · 16/12/2004 17:57

Oh Happy anniversary GRMUM, how many years has it been? hope you have a lovley day and evening

Eulalia, hello you! She'll be a school in the morning, last day before Xmas and I'll prepare a special birthday lunch and her grandad will join us. And then we have a load of friends coming over and having a glass of something in the early evening before bed.
Saturday morning is an early start as we're off to the theatre to see the Snowman, can't wait! Then back to my mum & stepdads for lunch and we'll be joined by some close family. And then on Sunday we'll spend the morning playing with new toys etc and then off to her other grandparents for a birthday tea.

Not having a big party for her again until she can run around and join in properly. Once she's walking I'll have a huge party for her.

Hope you both have a lovely day.
Make the most of it as they grow up so fast my eldest was 11 on Monday and chose to go on his class christmas trip instead of spending his birthday with us.He had even opened his presents before I got up .

JakBFrostNippingatYourtoes · 16/12/2004 18:59

LOL, meea! He's a cool dude already. What fantastic birthday plans, TC.
