My baby is 3 tomorrow. Feel so happy and quite emotional in a lovley way.

3 years old!

What a great 3 years. In some ways I can't believe she hasn't been in my life forever. What did I do without her around, what was life like pre-Lottie? She's such a huge and wonderful, important part of my life, can't believe she's only been in it 3 years. On the other hand how can my little baby be 3?!

My life, with her in it, is so much better than I could ever imagined. It just gets better and better, in some ways I want to push the fast forward button so I can get to the bit where she's reading stories to me and running after me and on the other hand I want it to stay like it is, right now, for ever.

Happy Birthday Lottie. Thank you for being more than I deserve and lighting up my life in a way I could never have dreamed possible. You make me so incredibly proud and so incredibly happy.
I love you so very, very much, Mummy xxx

Thanks TC - its 16 years tomorrow!! ( but far more together.) The day will just be a normal day, and the evening I'm not expecting anything as dh never remembers

Hope you all have a wonderful day and many happy returns to Lottie!!

anniebear · 16/12/2004 20:57

Thats really lovely, you have brought tears to my eyes!!!

DingleAlltheWay · 17/12/2004 10:54

TC, have yourselves a wonderful day!!
Your words are so true, I simply can't imagine my life without dd in it. Both her and her brother fill my life, my days and my heart. Although motherhood is not without it's fair shares of worries and troubles, there is simply nothing else like it!
Happy Birthday Lottie!
Just think of what she will be up to on her 4th birthday, how many more milestones she will have accomplished. I watched ds in his school assembly yesterday, and towards the end the little ones from the nursery all came in to do a dance,,,OMG, I had tears welling up in my eyes. She will be there next year, I could just imagine her little face as she danced around in front of such a audience. I don't want to wish her life away, but it is so hard at times not to anticipate the future-but in a very positive way. I'm sorry for hijacking your thread, but hopefully you will understand where exactly this waffle is coming from,,,my heart.
I hope you have an absolutely wonderful day.
Give her an extra birthday hug from me!
