@Sarahloo88 I would give them a call in the morning because I’m guessing they will have made a decision

Gemma1985x · 06/06/2023 13:34

My sons claim ends 12/06 so on monday, not heard anything yet, sent the forms back in march and got a letter in april to say they had it, but tried to call 6 times this morning, cut off after 28mins the 1st time, 8 or 9 mins and 4 mins and then an engaged tone after got into the queue and on the last time i tried waited for 49minutes then cut off , what the hell is wrong with their lines!

Hi, just wondering if anyone has any experience of making a claim in Northern Ireland? My scan date was 17/04 and I read somewhere that decision time was 30 working days which has now passed. Thank you x

@LeeanneD11 thank you hopefully i do hear and they award him again - im not sure how itll go this time cause 1st time he was awarded we had lots of school evidence they wrote up in primary but hes started year 7 now and because hes a well behaved kid, quiet, and keeps his head down the teachers dont even know him or his struggles so theres nothing in there from school this time

treeoakkez · 19/06/2023 13:29

Hey everyone,
I’ve applied for my daughter, I received a letter on the 3rd of may saying they received it and received another letter today stating they are are sorry you have not received decision this could take up to 15 weeks.
how far do you think is left I’m literally clueless. Thanks!!

xxAmy · 19/06/2023 21:08

Has anyone been awarded recently? Almost 16 weeks and not with DM yet

Tinietia · 20/06/2023 07:42

Im like 10 weeks in the process now. They sent a letter last week saying they haven't made a decision yet. I spoke to them on the phone they said up to 16 weeks wait. After 16 weeks I would call for an update.

It is a long wait unfortunately 😔 my scan date is 10th March which takes me to 15 weeks on Friday. I think they're on 8th and 9th March at the moment. Good luck with your claim 🤞.

Tinietia · 21/06/2023 22:08

Please let me know when received. My niece is around that date sure its 10th March. We are 24th April so a way to wait. Thank you

Gemma1985x · 22/06/2023 07:48

My son was awarded on 14/06 , it ran out on the 12/06 , i sent my docs off in march they said they got them 26th march something like that , they also told me that if its a renewal it goes to the decision maker a day or so before its due to end ….. if its a new claim im not sure its just in the queue n takes as long as it takes

xxAmy · 22/06/2023 07:57

Call wait times are ridiculous I'm on 15 weeks today and still no news they told me the other day over the phone that they don't even send the forms to decision maker until 15 weeks 🤦‍♀️ anxiety is through the roof right now just waiting to hear a yes or no.
Good luck though not long now but seems forever doesn't it 🤦‍♀️

Mumof4amazingboys · 24/06/2023 20:57

Anyone had any news from around 10th March yet please? 🙂 Still waiting anxiety is through the roof

Jay53 · 26/06/2023 08:07

@Shanmolloy21 I would give them a call. My scan date was 19th Jan and I got a decision end of April.

Hi just wondering if you've heard anything yet? I'm in n.ireland and just applied for my son

darcee18 · 29/06/2023 08:00

Hi @LocoCoco13. I got my acknowledgment on 17th April, backpay in my account on 15th June and reward notification letter on 21st. It’s such a stressful wait but thankfully nothing like the UK wait times.

ChrissyMac1 · 29/06/2023 13:52

Mine is 13th of March, called a couple of weeks ago and was told that it won’t go to someone untill now and then decision will be made first week of July - not sure if that helps!

h3ll0o · 31/07/2023 19:41

My daughters was received 4/4, her award letter was sent out (without any chaser phone calls from us) on the 26/7.

She doesn’t have an official medical diagnosis and all we had was a supporting statement from her nursery teacher who had known her for a few months. We were awarded middle rate care!

Tinietia · 31/07/2023 23:00

They should have at least given him low. So out of order. What happened with the mandatory consideration?

Tinietia · 31/07/2023 23:01

Yours was so quick! Mine was around same time and said 16th April for someone to look at it exactly 4 months. What a joke its usually 13-15 weeks.
