He heeeeeeeeeee

He amazingly wonderful 1-2-1 teachr even sent me a pic seconds later so she could point out the distance walked with a note saying"

Charlotte walked from her walker to the water tray today.
She was a bit wobbly and she made some lovely sound effects going "woooooooooaaaahhhhhhhh"!!!!!!
I gave a huge cheer when she reached the other side.
I think the wet floor is what made her do it.

Agggggggghhhhhhhhhhh! Wo hoooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!

Can't wait to speak to her tomorrow and hear it in person as well.
It must have been about 5 or 6 steps I reckon.

Ha haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh God, I'm so happy, sat here with massive grin and very stingy eyes

Oh, I can see some light and it's wonderful

Please God, please, please, let her do it again soon, please.

Go Lottie GO

Thanks all - lovely sharing these moments with you.
IU can't wait to be seen on those thread Soupie
Hub - she is obsessed with water, so an all dry floor with a wet trail leading to to the water tray, directly in her path, when she was already up on her alker, Don't know - she just saw teh wet, saw the water and had to get there

Love the fact she sent "wooooooaaaaaaahhhhhhhh" the whole way time she was wobbling her way across!

Ohh Lotbags you little star!

Thomcat · 28/09/2006 22:42

Ha haaaa, me too aitch, me too

Earlier int eh week she launched herself into the biggest puddle in the playground, twice, from her walker and I've been asked to bring in some waterproof trousers for her.

Looks like she might be needing them for as long as we thought??

Ohhhhh fingers crossed.

Oh, BRILLIANT, TC!

Oh, that's fab news - I'm so happy! Well done, Lottie! Hope it's the beginning of great things, walking-wise - fantastic girl!

Can't wait to see you again, btw - do you have a Monday or Friday free soonish? I'm going back to work on the 17th...!

Thomcat · 28/09/2006 22:56

And this is exactly why I'll never leave mumsnet, becaue moments like this just feel even better when they are shared with you lot.

Blu - absolutley. Best thing about having a chid with special needs are achiements like this, small in the NT world but mahoosive in the SN world. And although I missed it her teacher took a picture straight away so I can see where she left her walker and can see her standing at the water tray. How lovely is that!

Hunker - hello love, yes, can do next Mon actually if you are free on the 2nd?
