Not SN related, however, seen as you guys on the sn board are the closet things I have 'friends' and know more about my life than anyone in real life...I would like to share with you that I am getting married on Saturday! Smile

Fantastic news Claw! Many, many congratulations. x

Frizz YANBU I need to start one about my dad, he has turned into father of bridezilla! We are having the ceremony in a lovely little oldie worldie Inn in the Countryside and reception in hall attached. He is making demands, like its the Hilton...smoked salmon and champagne buffet etc, when I was quite happy with sausage rolls and cava etc Grin

Star no nothing like lunch, Wet has decided on Gregg's, laced fruit shoots and strippers!

Ive picked up the cake and I have to say, it looks lovely now its been blinged in my wedding colours!

notnew miniclaw has a little suit and waistcoat, he is looking forward to 'looking posh', although it hasn't even crossed his mind to ask why or where we are going!

That cake looks fantastic.

Am so thrilled for your Claw, truly.

claw2 · 23/10/2013 19:00

Thanks Polter, I had to buy four separate cakes and put them on top of each other, lets hope it doesn't collapse before Saturday!

Luckily I read the small print about you cannot put fruit cake on top of sponge, I never would have realised!

Wow - cake looks fantastic! And not a bottle of baby oil in sight.

claw if your dad is paying for the champers and smoked salmon, well, then he's the type of man I could get a long with.

If you're expected to pay, well, as your MN lavender bridesmaid "I could ave a word wiv him" Grin

Do we get to see a pic of your dress? well, if you don't ask, you don't get

wetaugust · 23/10/2013 22:07

Dowels - a cale that size needs heavy duty concrete piling!

It's lovely Claw - blinged out in my favourite colour.

It's not just any old M&S cake(s) - it's a Claw blinged wedding cake!

Lol RSJ's I suspect it will be like all my DIY and look like the leaning tower of pisa by Sat! You are talking to a woman who uses blu tak to hang pictures!

Frizz I do have a picture of me trying on my dress! I couldn't decide between 2, so to save keep trying them on again, being laced up and pinned, while I decided, I took a picture of each to help me decide.

Would you like to see them both? (will delete shortly)

claw2 · 23/10/2013 22:32

2 pics are on profile.

Which dress would you guys have chosen, before I tell you which one?

There are 2 different dresses Polter, although they do look similar!

OP posts:
StarlightMcKenzie · 23/10/2013 22:38

Dunno Claw. The second one has more unique detail that makes it special, but the first shows off your figure better.

I doubt I would be able to decide if it was me.

In fact in the end I took my husband to be and my father in law to choose between my last 2. I knew they'd make a good and importantly quick, decision.

frizzcat · 23/10/2013 22:41

Love them both, love the cut of the first and the detailing in the second.
STBDH - will be blown away when he sees you

claw2 · 23/10/2013 22:43

The poor woman was exhausted, having to keep lacing me up and pinning me! I had my mum and my son's girlfriend with me and they didn't help.

I was going to send a picture to DP, but everyone screamed at me, it was bad luck and 'against the law' Grin
