My LA has still not accepted ds needs and we have had indi ABA for 2.5 years now. If they admitted ds needed it they would have to admit dozens of other children do too. I suspect they will say they are doing it on parental pref or even safeguarding ( in that at least this way he will be in school) but never ever admit you were right and they were wrong.

I'm late to the party, but this is great news well done! Smile

Yep that is right Star, he copied their letter to me and asked for my comments, i gave my comments and the fact my views were based on written evidence, not just something i thought up for the sake of it.

He then said he would reply as you said.

Inappropriate - draft form, only parts filled out are part 1, 2, 3. Although it came with a covering letter "case officer to approach XXXX school"

That's fantastic news. If I were you, given the journey it's taken to get here, I think I'd ask them to finalise it so you can appeal, rather than giving them an opportunity to stall?

I saw this the night you posted it, and felt 'the joy'. I don't know your 'story' but guess it's a long one. From now it's downhill, the struggle diminishes... the statement says a lot of pants I'm sure, but if Part 4 school named is as you wish, you've made it.
