I am sitting here with tears of laughter running down my face (charmed, delighted tears)

My gorgeous hilarious 10yo boy has got me all to himself this weekend as dh and ds2 are away on a camping trip until Sunday afternoon. I am unable to walk far without crutches due to knee injury.

ds1 is taking it all VERY seriously and I knew he had plans (he always has plans, he's big on plans)

So he has presented me with a three-page programme of events, with a illustrated front cover

I HAVE to share it with you

Page 1:

Weekend with Shortsleeve

Entertainment Planner

Read this for a guide of meals, activities and timings

Page 2:

Weekend Schedual - Saturday (gaps = random chillaxing)

8.00am = Breakfast (Toasties & Tea)
9.00am = morning
9.30am = Entertainment Show
10.00am = discuss story
12.25pm = Lunch (corner shop picnic)
1.30pm = Chat About Something
5.30pm = Evening Entertainment show
6.30pm = Simpsons Season Start/Dinner (cheesey pasta bake)
????? = Bedtime

Page 3:

Weekend Schedual - Sunday Morning (Blank = chilling)

8.30am = Breakfast (surprise feast!)
9.30am =
10.45am = Mothers Day "Spa"
11.30am = Lunch (surprise)

He is planning to do all the cooking etc himself, he has consulted dh and done shopping etc! Grin [a little bit afraid]

Gah, I thought I put this in Chat not SN

Yes I liked the bit about 4 hours chatting about "something". I wonder what the entertainment show will be? They are always er "interesting in our house " Enjoy you weekend.

Peachy · 08/03/2013 10:42

Brilliant, what a gem!

cheekkatb · 08/03/2013 10:48

Aww he sounds like a smashing boy. Does your 4 hour chat about something actually mean a 4hr monologue! It would in this house. Happy Mother's Day weekend to you!

Brilliant, looks much more fun than the mothers day dd1 has planned for me (which involves taking me to church for the mothers day service as they have free cake) Smile.
